Wouldn't you just love some gratitude right about now? Well, you're in luck, it's #threeforthursday and we're doling out the gratitude in triples, join us! Here are this week's categories (click the audio for more detail on my choices)
1. Something that a parent or teacher taught you as a child that you still apply today.
2. Something you don't love to do, so you're doubly grateful that someone else does it for you.
3. Someone that provides a paid service to you.
1. My father taught me to respect every person regardless of how they look, where they come from, their economic status, etc. I try to live my life that way.
2. I'm so happy that I have a landscaper who mows my lawn. I have horrible lawn equipment, so it's pleasure to have the landscaping co. come in take care of business.
3. My barber, I enjoy getting a haircut and I enjoy catching up with my barber.
How about you? what are you grateful for in these categories?

I hope that we are all tapping into gratitude 7 days a week but #ThreeforThursday is like a bookmark or a string tied around your finger (that sounds uncomfortable) to remind us where we are and to remember to tap into gratitude today. Let’s kick it off with our three categories for this week:
Your happy place-- the place you go to help the troubles melt away.
An animal that you find to be beautiful or inspiring.
An artist, musician, or writer that makes your life better.
1. My happy place is the deck on the back of our house. It adds a country feel to a city place-- some tranquility-- and it's where we often gather with family and friends or to celebrate.
2. The Pistol Shrimp introduced to me by @Jim Ball. It’s a shrimp, a tiny little thing, but it’s got one claw that produces sound that rivals a gunshot and heat that rivals the sun. The thing is that it’s nearly blind. So it attaches itself to the Gobi fish which has massive eyes and great eyesight but no defense mechanism. When the fish sees danger it wiggles notifying the pistol shrimp to get ready to “shoot”. What a team!
3. Julian “Cannonball” Adderly, a jazz musician and band leader with a song that fits every one of my moods or that can lift me from a not so great mood.
For more detail and color on my choices, and the best podcast bumper music in the business, check out the audio below or wherever you get your podcasts.
Most importantly, share your list of three in the comments, we need your gratitude.
