Gray Area Anime

Today we break down fan service and whether it detracts from the overall enjoyment of anime. Icarus and Prima Diva give the definition of what it is and how it’s used to enhance the plot or if it serves no purpose whatsoever. There are so many parallels that can be drawn from fan service culturally and just in general to American standards of television. We know you’ll enjoy this episode and we will see you guys next time.

Teach Me Senpai!!! In this series we take newcomers to the culture have them watch an episode of anime and then see what their experience was after. I then help them understand what they just watched. Our first guest is @biblestudygirl aka my sister and head blogger over at www.biblestudygirl.com . I have her watch Carole and Tuesday and the hilarity ensues I know you will enjoy this episode.
