This week we hear from Mack Glass with Cherokee Ranch, a board member of the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board to learn about his operation, his experience in serving the cattle industry and insights of the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board's process in ensuring research is appropriate for producers of various sizes and challenges. 

This week we hear from Deanne Maples, Executive Director with the Florida Beef Council to learn about their promotional and educational events and how funding from the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board helps to further their mission in advocating for beef. 

This week we hear from Florida Senate President Ben Albritton and Sam Ard, Director of Government Affairs for the Florida Cattlemen's Association to learn about the Senator's experiences in the Florida Legislature, Sam Ard recounts the conversations and work to develop the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board, along with their efforts in continuing to develop relationships and share the values of Florida Agriculture. 

This week we hear from Betsey Boughton, Ph.D., Director of Agroecology, Senior Research Biologist, with Buck Island Ranch to learn the history of Buck Island, their research projects, how conservation plays a major role in the Florida Cattle Industry and how the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board has impacted their research. 

This week we hear from Sarah Childs, a Florida Cattle Producer who has served in various  leadership positions within the cattle industry including the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board, Florida Beef Council, Cattlemen's Beef Board and the Florida CattleWomen's Association. Sarah shares insights on the various processes of the Cattlemen's Beef Board and the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board and how they work together to advance the cattle industry. 

This week we hear from Dr. Nicolas DiLorenzo, Professor at the University of Florida, North Florida Research and Education Center in Marianna, Florida, to learn about his research projects and discuss his work in the use of intake limiters in supplementation of cattle. 

This week we hear from Dr. Todd Thrift, Associate Professor — Cow-Calf Management, Beef Cattle Nutrition, and Stocker Feedlot Management at the University of Florida to hear about his research projects that have been funded through the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board. 

This week we hear from Woody Larson with Larson Dairy to learn about the beginnings of the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board, how research projects funded by the FCEB impact both the beef and dairy industry and lessons learned from a career in agriculture by an inductee of the Florida Agriculture Hall of Fame. 

This week we hear from Dr. Anne Blount, Professor Emeritus, Forage Breeding and Genetics and Dr. Lynn Sollenberger, Professor Forage Management with the University of Florida IFAS to learn about their work on Limpograss, known in the cattle industry as Hemathria and how the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board and Florida's cattle producers worked together to develop this critical forage. 

This week we hear from Dusty Holley, Executive Vice President of the Florida Cattlemen's Association and Chief Operating Officer of the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board to learn the process and overview of how the Florida Cattle Enhancement Board operates, as well as the relationship between the Board and the Florida Cattlemen's Association.
