James 4:6 says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." If we're going to be good receivers of God's grace than we must know what it means to have a humble heart. We can not be full of self-pride and self-ability, and put our trust in God's ability at the same time. Trusting God requires a humble heart!

As believers, we are instructed to grow in grace. One of the primary ways we do this is by learning to see ourselves as God sees us. His truth must shape our perspectives, our confessions, and our self-image. Our victory has not been left up to chance - we can grow in God's grace in on-purpose way!

God is miraculous and supernatural,but we often hope that the leadership of the Spirit will be loud and bombastic. However, God's primary way of communication is not through the exterior, but through the inner-witness of our spirit. Let's not cast aside the supernatural waiting for the spectacular.

Living by faith is a fight. Sometimes we may lose - but no matter whether we win or loose a fight of faith, we must remember that God is good and He is beckoning us toward a closer walk with Him. God is not the author of defeat, but as we get closer to Him, our walk becomes a walk of victory.

We know from scripture that all the promises of God have already been completed at the cross through Jesus Christ. As believers in Christ, we must develop hearts full of faith in the finished work to receive what has been freely provided by God's grace.
