Every part of the body of Christ is important for God's will to be accomplished. What has God spoken to you about your role in the body of Christ, locally? corporately? It's important that we don't leave these important questions to chance, but diligently seek God's best for our life.

God always has a mind to win. Every battle, giant, and natural disaster that Israel faced, God's game-plan was always complete victory. He never set them up to fail and He never gave them a bad plan. But trusting God is always key to spiritual victory. If God is bringing you face to face with a personal "giant" in your life, you already have everything you need to conquer it!

As Christians it's easy to agree with the statement "Jesus is Lord." We know that this is supposed to be true in the life of a disciple. However, making this statement a living reality in our life can prove more of a challenge. We must fight the idea that God's voice is our voice, or that God's will is our will. In those times He asks things of us we don't want to do, we find out how far His lordship goes in our life.

The Holy Spirit was sent to teach and co-labor with the children of God. At some point we must cross the line from theory to practice in our daily life. We must take what we know about the Holy Spirit and start to exercise it. It's not enough to simply know he has come to be "teacher," if we're not confident we hear from Him. it's not enough to know he is come to co-labor with our faith, if we never put it to the test.

In Colossians 3:2, Paul says to "set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For you are dead..." If you have been born again you are a new creature in Christ, but you must make a choice as to where you "set your affection." It is a daily decision to either feed on the mentality and limitations of this present world, or to renew your mind to the way of the Kingdom. Let's choose to allow "the word of Christ to dwell in us richly." (Col. 3:16)

When we were born again, we were made a completely new creature. We are no longer defined by the old world, but by the the Kingdom of God. We are made free from all sin. We are made free to be righteousness. The fruit of our born again spirit is love, joy and peace. Let's awake to who we have been made to be in Christ!
