Why Pray?: When Jesus taught us how to pray He gave us an example of what it might sound like. The Lord’s Prayer is known and recited the world over. But what if it wasn’t meant to be something we recited over and over, and was about something much deeper?

Say What?: Remember being a kid, asking for a snack and getting this one: “What’s the magic word?” We never really grow out of that, even in a relationship with God. Praying sometimes feels like it has magic words, and if we don’t get them right, we don’t get answers.

Who We Pray To: Motivation makes all the difference. The reasons behind our actions can radically change what those actions mean. This is true even if the action is praying. Why we pray, and who we’re praying for matters.

Burn the Scales: Overestimating the power of our words is impossible. Even though they seem like no big deal, they have the power to change the direction of our lives. And if we’re not careful, they have the power to burn our world down. It just takes one spark.

Measured in Eternity: People will often say things like, “I gotta clean up my language,” but have no idea how. And when it comes to cleaning up all of our words and how we use them, it’s deeper than a list of things we do and don’t say. It’s a heart issue.

Way More: Actions speak louder than words. But the words we’ve heard have shaped us and the words we speak have the power to shape others.

Stories about God showing up in a person’s life usually focus on how he rescued someone. But God engages with us in other ways too.

Don’t Settle for Christian: Becoming a Christian is easy. It won't cost you anything. But Jesus never invited anyone to become a Christian. He invites us to follow.

The God of Jesus: Describing God is tricky; maybe impossible. How else do you explain an all-powerful creator you can’t see, touch or hear? That is unless God became a person so we’d know exactly what He was like. Jesus changed the game for the way humanity connects with divinity. And there’s no doubt… we all need that.
