We discuss the miracles He performed in Mark chapter 5 and how important it is to hold fast to our faith. We need to make sure we are obedience to Christ and in alignment with Him. There are so many gifts and talents inside of you that the world is waiting for if on you'd grab God's hand and go when he tells you to go. That vision he gave you for your family, the business plan, the book, and or the YouTube channel he asked you to start is not dead its dormant.

    Luke 10:38-39-42 TPT

As Jesus and the disciples continued on their journey, they came to a village where a woman welcomed Jesus into her home. Her name was Martha and she had a sister named Mary. Mary sat down attentively before the Master, absorbing every revelation he shared. But Martha became exasperated with finishing the numerous household chores in preparation for her guests, so she interrupted Jesus and said, “Lord, don’t you think it’s unfair that my sister left me to do all the work by myself? You should tell her to get up and help me.” The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.”

  • Dwelling Over Doing

In this episode we discuss the importance of dwelling in the presence of God and how that must take precedent over doing. Every year we go into the New Year with plans and goals, but did we consult God before we made those plans? This is the year of Divine Collaboration. God doesn't want us to do things in vain without Him. I encourage you to sit at the feet of God and listen for the blueprint for 2022.

    Proverbs 19:21

"Many plans are in a man’s mind,

But it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out)."

    Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.

    Psalms 127:1

"Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain."

  • Gambling with Grace

Grace can be defined as the unmerited and underserved favor of God. When we gamble with grace we are disobeying God and forfeiting his provisions in hopes that we get the outcome our flesh desires. It is a dangerous thing to gamble with the grace of God. In todays episode we dive in and discuss consequeses, assumptions, and what it looks like to make ourselves available to God.

  • Light piercing through darkness

Have you ever been deep in prayer and hear the Lord speak clearly to your situation? This happened to me just yesterday and was the inspiration for this episode. I heard the Lord say even when darkness surrounds us and we feel overwhelmed Deuteronomy 31:6 still rings true as it reads Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” I hope this episode encourages you wherever you are in your faith walk. Jesus is the light and his grace and mercy abounds.

  • Rooted

In today's episode Ashley discusses how important it is to allow the task God has given you to take root before sharing it with family members or friends. The people around us may have great intentions, but they may not be able to see the vision God has given you. It may not be for them to see or support at this time. There comes a time in all of our Christian walks where we must do what God has called us to whether we have the support of those whom we love or not. As difficult as it may be to accomplish our assignment God is pleased by our obedience. Spend time with Him. Lean on Him for strength and comfort. You'll be surprised at what you and God can accomplish together when He is the only one you are trying to please.

  • Forced Out

In this episode Ashley discusses how important it is to overcome the things of the past so can walk boldly into your future.  She uses analogies to symbolize what is happening spiritually when we carry around too much weight. A few reflection questions are written out below that would be helpful in self evaluating the things you are carrying. Somethings are necessary for us to take form season to season and others just weigh us down. As you embark on a journey of spiritual evaluation make sure you ask God which wounds are self inflicted due to me not letting go of things you never intended for me to carry? Be honest with yourself. It wont be easy but it will be worth.

    Reflection Questions

What things do I carry around with me from season to season?

What bad habits do I still need to break?

Do I let the right people in to help me? If not why?

What are some things that God has pointed out to me that I need to change?

Are there things in my past that still bother me? If so why?

Am I doing everything I need to do to become who God created me to be?

  • Got Peace?

In the final hour leading up to the death of Jesus do you know what was on his mind? You. He was concerned about you. Even though he was preparing to suffer an unimaginable death, and even though he did nothing to deserve to die he was still concerned more about you then himself. Jesus was so concerned about us that he used his very last breath to convey that concern when he pleaded with God on our behalf and said "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." He articulated in more ways then one that he loved us, was concerned about us, and that he wanted us to be reconciled to the Father despite of all the things we have done and continue to do as individuals who are born into sin. There is so much going on in the world today that peace may not be easy to come by. It's important to turn our eyes back to the one who died for our sins and use the words he said to point us in the right direction. If this episode touches you please share it. You never know who in your circle may need hear that peace is gift from God that we can still have even when everything in the world seems so overwhelming.

  • Worship over Worry

We are still in quarantine y'all and its time to talk about what's consuming many of our thoughts and that is worry. We've never faced anything like this before and we don't know how long this social distancing and self isolation will last, but what we do know is the one who is over it all. God wants to know right now in the midst of this pandemic what you are focused on?  Are you like Peter who steps out of the boat and has the ability to walk on water until he takes his eyes off Jesus and places them on the storm? Or are you going to learn from what Peter did and say I'm going to keep my eyes fixed on the Lord despite of everythig going on. There is greater waiting for you on the other side of this. No matter what you re going through God will see you through it. He fulfills his promises and his word never returns void. Be encouraged and hold fast to the promises of the Lord.

  • The power of perspective

Perspective: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.

In this current climate its easy to have a negative perspective, but how does God view this time? What does he want you to do in this season? Don't allow this time to pass by without connecting with the Lord and asking him to reveal his desires for you. There is so much we have to gain from consistently relying on him to be our guide.
