In 1 Kings chapter 19, we watch the prophet Elijah anoint Elisha by laying a cloak over his shoulders. Elisha knows that this means he has been called out and set apart. He immediately stops working, and destroys his plow, and cooks his oxen as a final meal to share with his family and friends. His immediate reaction to being anointed was to give up his old, steady, and predictable life for a life filled with uncertainty, trials, and miraculous occurrences that he'd only be able to experience by following God's call. In a split second, Elisha had to choose if he was going to be all in? And he more than committed to his decision to answer the calling God had placed on his life. So, let me ask you a question. How all in are you? What decision would you make? Are you answering God's call for your life?
