If we look back over Moses’ life, we see just how great God had been to Moses and the children of Israel. Moses witnessed many miraculous things: The burning bush, the plagues, the parting of the Red Sea, the manna, the quail, the water from the rock, and many more miraculous things on this forty-year journey. God proved over and over that He was capable of providing for His people.

Moses, no doubt, was filled with wonder and awe about all that he had seen. But more than the miracles and revelation of truth that captivated Moses, what amazed him more was the realization that he had only seen the beginning of what God could do. Moses asks if that was only the beginning, what must the future hold? Throughout the bible, we never see God portrayed as a diminishing quantity. He is constant. He is forever the same. God has been very good to us, but God has only just begun.
