Many tap into the spirit, but some live in the spirit. Some experience it every once and a while, but others experience the supernatural often. Some come to the house of God expecting a move of God and to experience a miracle. Simeon was a man who lived in the prayerful expectancy of help. He lived every day believing God would do what He said he would do. This man lived in expectation. God had been silent for 400 years. Multiple generations had come and gone without hearing the voice of God. Despite this long time, Simien came to the house of God every day with an expectation of a visitation. We also read of Anna, a widow who did not depart from the temple. When Simeon is holding Jesus, Anna comes in and begins to sing His praises. These two people had an expectancy that kept them through the long, quiet years.
