Dr. Hughes declares that we have been living in survival mode in this country for the last twenty years. The events of 9/11 began a change in our society that has lingered until today. Our world has changed us physically and spiritually to the point that we cannot even remember how it was before. We have learned to live day-to-day rather than living up to our privilege because we are a child of God. God desires so much more for us than to live in fear and uncertainty. It is Time to get out of survival mode.
