Editorial Reviews:
Nobody can express the hopes, desires, and real-life experiences of teenagers better than teenagers themselves, and Chicken Soup for the Teen Soul delivers a series of truly inspirational teen stories from preternaturally wise young people currently living out these transformative years. A collaboration with Teen Ink magazine, Chicken Soup for the Teen Soul is a collection of essays from this publication celebrating teenage writing. Voice actor Angela Starling convincingly inhabits these young voices, sensitively portraying their pain and joy as they confess to experiences of friendship, sickness, depression, first love, and more.

Please people with the money, if you buy a new book, include a used one in your shopping cart. That will help Amazon enormously in their storage, and it can help you too. At some places the price canât lower to lesser a penny. Take a used book for a 0.01$ anywhere.
It has many usage including, âCash4Books.netâ
Recycle it or Burn it for survival heat. Use two books as spacers to raise your monitor because itâs always better to view at eye leveled to the center of your screen. Even better, send it to donation, any library would take it, or the third world too.
Do not fear a book because it has no teeth!!
When you open your used book, wear gloves if you have to, then youâll realize, âThis book ainât that bad after all.â
Good read and peace!!

Earnest, honest, real
I haven't read much of Chicken Soup before -- it never seemed like my kind of thing, I guess. But I've liked and been reading the Teen Ink magazine since the beginning of this year, and when this book came out I thought I'd give it a try.
First off, don't judge it for its looks or its title. No, seriously. The writing in here isn't "soupy" or sugar-coated, no matter how smiley the six teens on the cover look. Some of it gets pretty visceral; it's a book by teens with their experiences right now, not just people who WERE teens once upon a time. And it's not half-hearted in describing anything.
The writing isn't the same as writing by adults; it's got a fairly different quality about it, not better or worse, just different. It's not pretentious or "trying too hard." I liked that.
On flipping through the book, looking at the cover and the little cartoons inside (what's up with those little cartoons?), I have to say I got a little leery. But when I sat down and read the whole thing, I found it as good as Teen Ink magazine itself, and for the same reasons: it's earnest. It's honest.
