Delightful turn to the ages-old sky gazing fun

I listened to this and was delighted to find the imagery that I can clearly remember from my own childhood. This book is surely one that children everywhere will be able to connect to and delight in. I think I am going to take my little Emma out right now and visit the puff village as well.

Sweet, charming read!

Tilly has a hard time in a new house and new school, with her mom bedridden with a fragile pregnancy. She finds solace in the garden, with a fox, a mysterious friend, and an old dollhouse. A sweet read, perfect for a girl aged 8-12.

Nothing happens.

If you like a book where every chapter seems to be building to something and then nothing happens, this story is for you. Over-long on repetitive descriptions yet short on plot.

A must read for all ages

I chose this story for my daughter but found myself reading it instead. I couldn't put it down. A touching story with a happy ending.

Just precious!

I absolutely LOVE this book and not just because I happen to know the author. She is my niece! The book is sooo sweet and gives everyone an idea about what Jesus' life must have been like as a child! I think most of us never think about Jesus as a child yet that's how he started out, just like you and me.

Lisa used to teach kindergarten at a private school and one of her darling female students went up and asked her on pajama day, "Mrs. Baty, does Jesus wear jammies?" (My niece would have pajama day on the very last day of each school year.) She was so moved by that question that she decided to write a book based on that story line! She had been wanting to write a children's book for quite some time and that question from that precious child motivated her to follow her dream! This book is even dedicated to that little girl who is now a young lady. She's been trying to find her since this book has been published. The girl's family is in the military and they have moved away so she hasn't had much luck locating her.

Anyway, the book is just precious, like I said. My daughter is expecting her first child and I have been reading this book to the baby through her belly. The experts suggest women to listen to music while they're pregnant, especially classical music, so that the babies will grow up to be geniuses. Therefore, I feel if that's the case then reading to them has to be a good thing as well and that is why I do it!

Lisa is wanting to write more children's books and I truly believe she should! God has blessed her with a wonderful talent for writing them! I have been with her for moral support through a lot of her book sales and signings, and her eyes just light up when she's talking to prospective buyers for her book! She truly loves God and children and she really loves to write, so I encourage her to get more books out there! Get crackin' Lisa! :)

Love the story

Love the story! My son can't get enough of it. Had a chance to personally meet the author at a book signing too and she was really nice :) I'm planning on purchasing another one for a friend who's currently expecting.

Excellent Children's Rhyming Book

I Think that I Would Like To Be... by Catherine Follestad is a fun and exciting book to read. As a funny picture rhyming book, it is written how it should be; fun to read.

Catherine Follestad did a great job of developing a storing that brings all the fun and imagination of a boy to life. The book is easy to read, especially good for ages 6 - 8, and is also a lot fun. My grandson and I read it together and we really enjoyed it.

I really liked I Think that I Would Like To Be... by Catherine Follestad and I highly recommend this book. I give it my "Grandpa Seal of Approval."
