In Jesus' presence, your sin is made evident, but you are forgiven. Jesus' presence brings freedom from shame and liberation from the bondage that holds you back. In His presence, there is relentless joy. But you have to make a complete and total change, and in time complacency will become apathy. Will you choose to be like Levi or Matthew? Will you get your hands dirty?

Statistics show that the more money you earn, the less you tend to give (percentage-wise). In other words, the worst givers are the ones who make the most. Shouldn’t it be the opposite? Shouldn’t we who have more, give more? In 1 Timothy 6, the Apostle Paul tells Timothy what he should say to to the rich people — “Charge them to be generous and ready to share.” In the third week of the series, Pastor Jake talks about what it means to be a rich giver.
