Cascadia is a region in Western Canada, almost synonymous with the Pacific Northwest. Always incorporating B.C., Washington, and Oregon… it sometimes extends to Alaska, Northern California, even Montana… I pretty much stick to the tried and true - there’s not a ton happening in Montana and Alaska anyway… Northern California might creep in there from time to time… anyway, check out some of the best music, not just in Cascadia, but in the world! There was no way I was going to squeeze

That would’ve been almost 3 hours long. So

In the world of rock music, it was NOT a good

year! We lost a lot of really great musicians,

writers, singers and songwriters. I’ve had

people tell me, even musicians, that it’s just

because we’re all getting older and I’m only

noticing it more. No way. I’m only a year older

today than I was at this time last year and I

didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary last

year… so what gives?

The definition of “one hit wonder” might

surprise you… a band needs to make it into

the top 40 of Billboard’s Hot 100 list first of

all and if they only do that once, they’re a

“one hit wonder”... it’ll surprise you who’s on

that list! Names like Amy Winehouse, Muse,

Norah Jones and Snow Patrol… they all

qualify...
