Green Mountain Mysteries

Episode 48 - Albion In The Sky With Diamonds

WE'RE BACK, BABY! Our break is over, and it's time to dive into the fifth chapter of Green Mountain Mysteries!

Just as soon as the gang is back together in Burlington, they're called by their friends in Monkton to investigate a mystery... if they can get there in one piece, that is. Albion litters and nearly loses his head, Desdemona goes for the Kobe, Ro gets roped in, and Sylvester just keeps sprinting.

Starring Christine Tardif as Desdemona Brown, Darius Southland as Dr. Sylvester Coopersmith, Gwen Vetter as Ro Kamen, Thom Freitag as Albion Graves, and Michael Freitag as everyone else. Adventure written by Seth Burton.

Starring Christine Tardif as Desdemona Brown, Darius Southland as Dr. Sylvester Coopersmith, Gwen Vetter as Ro Kamen, Michael Freitag as Warden Joseph Beaumont, and Thom Freitag as Albion Graves.

Things get no less meta in this second episode of our gang of plucky, oddball monster hunters playing a tabletop RPG where they play a gang of plucky, oddball monster hunters. This, plus the spellcasters playing tech savvy non-wizards, presents unique challenges for Albion.

Starring Christine Tardif as Desdemona Brown, Darius Southland as Dr. Sylvester Coopersmith, Gwen Vetter as Ro Kamen, Michael Freitag as Warden Joseph Beaumont, and Thom Freitag as Albion Graves.

Sam Coopersmith finally arranges a first date with Sly's student, Alfonso. You remember him, right? The one who tried to use his vampiric powers to put the whammy on her when they first met? Clearly, this is a good decision on the part of all involved; with special guest Michelle Wetherbee as Samantha Coopersmith.

It's (almost) the second anniversary of Green Mountain Mysteries! You asked us more questions, and we're back again to answer 'em. Get ready to learn even more about the GMM cast, crew, and characters, such as: Where the heck does Albion get iron bullets from? Could Dr. Coopersmith take Batman a fight? What's going to happen when Ro has to make the Choice? What's Des going to do about her poor hydrangeas? And how does Seth deal with Mike steering the ship in unexpected ways?

In all seriousness, thank you all for another year of love and support; it means the world. We're going to take a short, necessary break from releasing regular episodes until March - we want to make the next few chapters the best that we possibly can, and we need some extra time - but we'll still have some content to drop in the feeds in the meantime. Here's to yet another year of Green Mountain Mysteries!

Before we begin chapter five, it's time for another interlude! This time, Thom takes the GM chair as the gang leave Burlington to once again help a family member in need. (Content warning: contains more cursing and violence than usual, somehow)

Stuart Wellington from The Flop House podcast joins us as we wrap up this adventure the only way we know how: with a good old fashioned monster fight! But first, the gang head to the Hinterlands Bar to meet someone who isn't terribly amused with their antics. The conclusion of the second interlude chapter; with special guests Hue from No Dice as Natalie Coopersmith, and Stuart Wellington as Warden Wellington.

Starring Christine Tardif as Desdemona Brown, Darius Southland as Dr. Sylvester Coopersmith, Gwen Vetter as Ro Kamen, and Thom Freitag as everyone else. Adventure written by Thom Freitag.

It's time for our Thanksgiving episode, as part of the 2021 Pocket Podcast Potluck celebration!

The gang gathers at Desdemona's house for a Thanksgiving party with their closest friends. Unfortunately, it seems they might've partied TOO hard last night... and now they need to reconstruct the events of their raucous holiday rager to answer some pressing questions: where did these trashy romance novels come from? Has anyone seen Phoebe? Where's Albion's shirt - and also his magic Odin gun? And, most importantly - whose dog is this???

Starring Christine Savage as Desdemona Brown, Darius Southland as Dr. Sylvester Coopersmith, Gwen Vetter as Ro Kamen, Thom Freitag as Albion Graves, and Michael Freitag as everyone else.
