GreenPower Motor Company (NASDAQ: $GP), a leading manufacturer and distributor of zero-emission, electric-powered vehicles, has announced fiscal full year financial results for the period ending March 31, 2022.
Financial highlights for the year included revenues of $17.2 million, which represented a 30% increase over the previous fiscal year. The company also reported inventory of $32.3 million and working capital of $31.58 million.
Operational highlights from the year included continued expansion of the company’s dealer network across the United States. During the year, Greenpower signed dealership agreements to expand its sales footprint across Arizona, Nevada, Washington State, New Jersey, New York and California.
The company also completed a significant partnership with the state of West Virginia, entering into a purchase agreement for an 80,000 square foot facility on six acres of land. The facility will be used to manufacture all-electric school buses for the U.S. market.
In March, Greenpower signed a contract with Workhorse Group (NASDAQ: $WKHS) to supply 1,500 electric vehicle star cab and chassis, which will be used to produce Workhorse branded panel vans in the North American market.
Greenpower CEO Fraser Atkinson commented: “We are well positioned to commence deliveries as we have inventory of our Type D Beast and Type A Nano Beast all-electric school buses.We have over 1,600 customer orders scheduled to be delivered over the next two fiscal years. The second quarter will see an uptick in deliveries to customers with a significant increase over the ensuing quarters."
