The Greens have launched a plan to close loopholes in federal legislation that would remove lethal shark nets.

Associate Professor of Environmental Science at Bond University Dr Daryl McPhee told Dean Miller on 4BC Afternoons, "I think we need to transition away from lethal methods but we need not to rush, we need to bring the whole community along with us."
