In what had long been considered safe Labour territory, Labour slumped to third place, Reform UK were beaten by more than 4,000 votes and the Conservatives picked up just 1.9 percent. Jeremy described it as a political earthquake for Sir Keir Starmer, with pressure mounting on Labour’s leadership as voters delivered a dramatic verdict in Greater Manchester.
