Just about everyone can tell you the story of Jonah is about a man who gets swallowed by a fish. While the fish makes for a great VBS skit, it's not the most important part of the story. If anything, the fish has distracted us from the deeper message of Jonah. A message which makes Jonah one of the most subversive books in the Bible.

Of all the many different factors impacting our mental health, our patterns and habits of thought is one of the most important. This is why it is essential, though not always easy, to think about the way we think.
