Frank is pretty sure that this Iron Bank isn't bad, but we have our doubts. Naturally, we want to be sure that we don't make a very powerful enemy without cause so we gotta do our research. After brunch, that is.

When you are face to face with Ioun the goddess of knowledge you gotta take advantage of it. Our heroes are about to journey into extremely dangerous planes so naturally they try to get as much info as possible. Apparently they solved the safer god problems and the next few are a doozy and a half. They all sound terrible. But being a hero means you jump into danger when called to do so. Being a living hero means you make sure you know where you are landing and if the air is poison.

The battle outside Deephome rages on, but will our heroes be able to keep their rag tag army in check against the onslaught of the approaching Dragons!? That is such a stressful thing to think about! Did we ever imagine the Aludra who woke up on that slab all those years ago and would be commanding an army? They grow up so fast. Unfortunately, there is another shade from Aludra's past on the horizon. Surely... it cannot be...I will not say that heroes name! Trickster! Charlatan!

Turns out there are lots of bad things going on throughout Drunkeros but luckily Queen Aludra has called her allies to defend Deephome. Listen as we play out a huge battle and repel thousands of enemies from the entrance of the dwarven home land of Deephome. Gasp as a mighty brontosaurus covered in goblins smashes the ranks of a dragonborn cavalry. Stare in awe at a dragons approach over the horizon!

Before we jump into the next chunk of this arc we wanted to take a moment to answer y'all's burning questions! Thank you all so much for writing in. We always love doing these eps since it gives us a chance to wild out a bit. Next episode we will I guess go into some sort of worse place than Prison Planet so that is something nice to think about. I think one of the planes was entirely on fire? Working on our tans would be nice, I guess... Anyways I don't think there are any controversial questions this time (Pie is better than Cake) but feel free to scream at your listening device along with us.

I think it is safe to say that the heroes of our story needed to let off a little steam. To collectively exhale, let their guard down and just act like all of existence isn't being threatened by some all powerful force. Luckily they have made some allies that many consider gods. It is good to have friends like that. Friends who have whole cities named after them.

Having defeated Josail Longshadow our crew of adventurers must decide what to do with the frozen bodies of Torog and Pelor. Pelor is pretty simple: release him. Torog...well Torog will probably be pretty mad and in a "squash small things" mood. Whatever they decide, fate has dealt them a hand that forces them to keep moving forward or else more gods of the realm will be captured. Captured gods tend to have disastrous effects on their local population so they barely have time to catch their breath. That is the life of a hero for you.

Few Podcasts survive to make their 300th episode and we probably would have been one of them if not for you! We are not kidding - we would have quit a long time ago ha ha. This is it! Josail Longshadow and Pelor is within our grasps! We are stronger than ever and full of righteous anger. Our quest is to free a god for, Pelor's sake, so we have no choice but to pull out all the stops and end this once and for all. Well, until the next god goes missing. But we are even more prepared for that! We must stop whatever is going on here because not only our plane but all planes of existence could be wiped out! I hope Josail wore a clean pair of undies today.

I think we all knew there was going to be something weird inside the armory or whatever your would call this room. An impound? Is that what you would call it? Anyway this creature is terrifying and I hate fighting it. Something...is screaming inside. Something, dare I say, familiar? Every quest has a moment when you stop and just for one second appreciate just how weird things have gotten. Hopefully this weird crystal belly haver is that moment.
