Today marks 10 months since our neighbour started sending ground up plastic weed barrier to our property.  In today's episode I discuss the impact this pollution has caused to us, both physically and emotionally.  I also share stories from years gone by, where backyard conflict ended with positive resolution. Have a listen to our story, and know that my goal as always is for a peaceful resolution.  It takes no energy to do nothing, and sometimes we have to step outside our comfort zone to do what is right.

People make mistakes. It's called being human. How we respond to our own mistakes, and to the mistakes of others, can make a huge difference on the outcome. Sometimes we make our own mistakes when we respond to mistakes! Oh, and then we say sorry, again, and again!  Yup, the cycle of mistakes. Things change when we are aging. Whether it is our physical abilities, our outlook on life, or our cognitive abilities, reality is we age.  The good news is...we can still branch out and try new experiences.  In today's episode I share thoughts on life, gratitude and recent events that confirmed my new approach to living. I am capable of memorizing lines and attending a film festival on my own. I am not too old to learn, even if I go at a different pace.  I am not a wallflower after all!

Am I walking the walk, or talking the talk? I keep saying I am going to cut back on my digital time, then I had an incident this week that reminded me how much I am hooked on having my phone with me.  I'm no spring chicken, and when I was a kid we didn't even have cell phones.  What happened to me, and why do I feel so empty if I forget it at home?  In today's episode I share a recent mishap that got me thinking about my dependance on technology. In a world where people expect instant connection, it can be a bit humbling when we have to slow down.
