After helping care for her grandmother who had vascular dementia, Jennifer realized her Mother was showing signs of early onset Alzheimer’s. After the death of her father in 2017 Jennifer went searching for answers to many of the common questions and Alzheimer’s caregiver faces. Being a busy entrepreneur Jennifer realized that a podcast would be the easiest way to learn more about caregiving while completing other tasks.

Sadly, in late 2017 she only found one and it didn’t quite address what she was looking for, so she did the next best thing, and started her own. The Fading Memories podcast is now in it’s fourth year and despite the death of her Mom in March 2020, Jennifer is still talking to caregivers and still learning how to be an excellent caregiver. My name is Zachary Faerber, I am 27 years old but have lived a long life in those 27 years. I spent my younger years taking care of my sick parents, working multiple jobs, and helping out with my brother and sister. I graduated with honors and distinctions in Medical Anthropology with the life goal of helping others. I started my career managing stem cell donations for blood cancer patients at the same hospital my father passed away at. I quickly realized I could have more impact by helping others with the tactics I picked up through my struggles. Elizabeth Hall is originally from Western NY although her late husbands’s job took her up and down the east coast for many moves before finally settling in North Texas into their “forever home”. She has two amazing daughters from her marriage to Bryan and is now a bonus mom to a third charming little lady who also lost her mom at a young age. Together with her “chapter two” Dave and an adventurous puppy named Archie, this newly-blended family has ample amounts of grit and determination to surf the waves of grief and trauma together.

Elizabeth began dealing with grief years before her fit husband suddenly passed away from a heart attack in 2019…with the death of her mother in 2015. Her mom courageously battled multiple forms of cancer for many years while Elizabeth was in high school, college and beyond. Elizabeth was able to travel back and forth to help both of her parents through this difficult time. It took a few years for Elizabeth to begin to process the death of her mother and whence was finally ready… tragedy stuck again with the death of Bryan.

Now a frequent podcast guest and involved in many grief- groups, Elizabeth has found the best way for coping with her grief is through activism and advocacy of learning how to heal. She hopes her story is able to help others dig their way out of the dark times and understand there will be better days ahead.

Leila Casey is an entrepreneur and public speaker. She shares her story of being the youngest daughter of first generation immigrants fleeing the Iranian revolution in 1979. Rosalie Mastaler is a writer, musician, crafter, mother, wife and passionate advocate.

Her online presence, with her son Hunter, is full of humor, education about the disabled community and finding joy in the journey.

She has been featured on Erik Weihenmayer’s website for living a “No Barriers” life. Was awarded “Woman of the Year”, by her local assemblyman in Southern California, for community service through musical performance and advocacy. She is highly active within the amputee and disabled community, attending multiple events and camps throughout the year with her son. Whether it’s in person, or social media, she loves to connect with other families and amputees.

She is currently working on publishing children’s books that feature people with disabilities. Along with her publishing venture, she is always on the hunt and sharing about books that encourage positive disability representation. Her goal is to spread awareness through literature.

For many years, she could be found on stage throughout Southern California with a 1940’s tribute group, at her local community theater, and at Disneyland Resort every Christmas in the Candlelight Processional.

She cherishes her faith and commitment to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She currently reside in Central Texas in a home filled with toy cars, LEGO bricks and lots of noise as she raises three young boys with her high school sweetheart, Michael, her husband of fifteen years.
