In 2021, Alexis Hourselt discovered that the man who had raised her was not her biological father.   What's more, after having been raised for 35 years as a bi-racial Mexican American women, she found out that she is half African American.  In today's episode, Alexis talks about her DNA surprise journey and what it means, not only to discover a new family, but a complete shift in racial identity.
