Grief on SermonAudio

The Christian's sorrow is temporary; resurrection joy is full and forever!

This sermon explores the biblical account of the disciples on the road to Emmaus, using their experience of grief and confusion to address modern feelings of disappointment and uncertainty. It emphasizes that perceived endings in life are often opportunities for God to initiate greater plans and reveal His presence when believers feel most abandoned. The message encourages trusting in God's timing and Word rather than immediate circumstances, highlighting that faith is strengthened through trials and divine guidance. Ultimately, it calls listeners to recognize that Christ walks alongside them in their struggles, transforming despair into hope and leading them toward eternal life.
