Since the Great Darkness of 1999, all manner of strange and terrible artifacts continue to be discovered around the world. Known as Obscura, none are larger or more mysterious than Grimland—an entire island continent in the Pacific Ocean, shrouded in fog and perpetual storms. Dr. Wesley Morrigan, a biologist with a tragic past, has been tasked with its exploration. Where others see only a wealth of post-Darkness knowledge, Wesley hopes to find an end to his encroaching madness—one way or another.
