Grimm 2 the Brim

Bananananks reads us a story about a creepy old man named Saint Joseph who lures little girls into his house and Andy reads us his Real 2 the Breal about an embarrassing misidentification incident.

Andy narrates both Grimm's stories in this episode about a man who has to ask an entire family (individually) if he can marry a girl who has a dowry of 14 farthings and another man who keeps his wife prisoner inside a glass mountain and calls her "Mother Manrot" for fun.

DaveyMustardface also has a Real 2 the Breal about a boy with a sweaty arse!

We're upping the ante in this week's episode and have added a fourth host to our podcast in the form of Bananananks.  AndyDunderhead (nee Gumbimickle nee JustAndy) will be telling us the Grimm's story about The Ragamuffins, meanwhile Kate Paintpots has a Real 2 the Breal for us involving a husband and wife's tricky dispute...

This week we listen to a princess whose marriage comes with a condition and Andy tells us his Real to the Breal.

This episode we read all about 'Hans My Hedgehog' the weird half human, half hedgehog who is hated by his dad and kings alike.

But he loves them bagpipes.

We also hear a Real to the Breal from DaveyMustardface about a girl with a dark curse...

This week we cover a story called 'The Three Surgeons' and we recreate a real life event in the Grimm's style for our Real to the Breal segment.  We also welcome a new regular host Andy.

Thanks for listening!

This episode we look at three Grimm's stories:

A Cat and Mouse in Partnership

Hans' Trina

The Stubborn Child

We also tell a couple of real-life stories from our own lives which we have spun into Grimm's style stories.

Thanks for listening!

This podcast is all about delving deeper into children's tales, to discover that they actually aren't what they first seem.  Some are darker, some are darker still.  We choose ones we like the title of and one of us reads the story whilst the other adds comedic input.

In this episode we pick apart three odd and relatively unheard of Grimm's tales.

The Strange Feast

The Mother-in-Law

How Some Children Played at Slaughtering
