The Reds made the trip to Blundell Park, ate their chippy tea and made eleven changes to the starting line up as Steve Cooper took the opportunity to get minutes into the legs of some players. Ryan Yates, Remo Freuler and Guilian Biancone put themselves back in the mix; Emmanuel Dennis, Sam Surridge and Loic Mbe Soh will have appreciated the minutes; and for youngsters such as Aaron Donnelly and Zach Abbott, it will have been a dream come true (Abbott gets his GCSE results this week!).
