Grit & Glitter

Impact Wrestling proves impossible to kill with a banger pay-per-view to kick off 2023.  Harley, Em, and Mayydayy discuss Hard To Kill including Mickie James' emotional Last Rodeo, Masha Slamovich becoming #1 contender again, a MOTY candidate between James and Jordynne Grace, and plenty of ponderings on where things go from here.  Giddy up!

We're not done ringing in the new year at Grit & Glitter!  This week, Em Fear is joined by brand new Glitterati correspondent, Don Halliwell, as well as Mayydayy and ValPancakes to make some predictions for women's wrestling in 2023.  Plus: we do some manifesting of our hopes & dreams, from big years for our big favorite wrestlers and wrestling promotions to the desire to see a greater love for women's wrestling on the whole.

What are your women's wrestling predictions for 2023? What do you hope to see happening this year? Tell us all your hopes & dreams by finding Grit & Glitter on Twitter, Instagram, and Patreon.

In the season 9 premiere, it's 2023!  Harley and Em are joined by new Glitterati member Lindsay Baker to make some wrestling resolutions, check in on last year's resolutions, and speculate on what this year could have in store.

Where will the former Sasha Banks show up?  When will Mickie James retire?  Who will be Saraya's mystery tag partner?  What will WrestleMania look like without Vince McMahon in charge?

It's the fourth annual Glitter Bombs, a year-end award show honoring your favorite wrestlers of marginalized genders in 2022!

Harley, Em, and the rest of The Glitterati are joined by some extra friends to reveal your picks in ten categories including Favorite Wrestler, Favorite Tag Team, and Match Of The Year.

One week before Christmas, Harley and his wife drive six hours from Toronto to Pittsburgh to attend Enjoy Wrestling's Enjoy Odyssey and meet Em Fear in person for the first time ever.  Merry Christmas, yinz!

Em and Jacqui cover AEW Full Gear including three (3) women's matches!

They discuss interim championships, the ring return of Saraya, the rise of Jamie Hayter, Nyla Rose getting to show her personality, a bloody Toni Storm, and Jade Cargill's thunder-thunder-thunder-Thundercats gear.  Hooo!

In honor of Becky Lynch's debut as Cyndi Lauper on Young Rock, we thought we'd take this week to make a special presentation of our Patreon podcast Women's Wrestling Entertainment.

Women's Wrestling Entertainment is a series where Harley and Em trace the history of women in the WWE from the very beginning.  On this episode, they take a look at the WWF women's division from May 1984 to March 1985 including Cyndi Lauper's arrival, WWF and MTV joining forces, the debut of Wendi Richter, and the first WrestleMania.
