This sermon teaches that suffering is inevitable, but for those in Christ, there is hope in the glorified life. Our groaning is not in vain but is sustained by a sure and confident hope in the promise of being conformed to Christ and seeing Him face-to-face. Through it all, we are not alone; the Spirit groans with and intercedes for us, and we suffer as beloved sons and daughters, not orphans.
