Japan is known for many things, but murder usually doesn't rank high on the well known list. Yet, in the 80's you could have been killed for simply getting something to drink out of a vending machine. As suddenly as the murders began, they stopped. Someone or multiple someones, were poisoning drinks in vending machines who, to this day, are still unknown.

The Doodler is a serial killer believed responsible for anywhere between six and sixteen murders and three assaults of men in San Francisco, California, between January 1974 and September 1975. The nickname was given due to the perpetrator's habit of sketching his victims prior to stabbing them to death.

In 2003 William Devin Howell killed 7 women in Connecticut from January to October, which started a years long process for the victims to gain justice.

From 2005 to 2009 there were 8 women murdered in Jennings, LA and the suspects ranged from the local drug dealer to the police department. Still to this day their deaths were never solved.
