Self care is all we hear about these days especially as moms and women. However, the world's view of self care isn't the the Biblical model. There are plenty of books and videos where people are trying to shove today's model for self care into scripture but it just DOESN'T fit. We have to be very careful to not mold the Bible into what we want it to say, but rather mold ourselves into what God wants us to be. It isn't popular, it isn't pretty, and it definitely isn't Instagram worthy. However, God wants what is best for us (but His ways are far above our own)! Today's model falls short and the world is lying to you. Let's talk about God's model for "self care".  Stop falling for the lies of society because they will never satisfy.
