Open Invite follows the journey of professional golfer, Maya Reddy. After a successful junior golf career, Maya made the difficult decision to walk away from the sport at the professional level, having faced discrimination and abuse over her Queer and Desi identities. Now, Maya is returning to the sport on her own terms, renegotiating her relationship with golf, and advocating for inclusivity in sport. The final episode tracks Maya's pursuit of playing professional golf, and her subsequent pivot to law and advocacy work in sport.

Erik van Rooyen is more than a PGA Tour winner. Among many other identifiers, he's a father, a husband, and a music enthusiast. He's conscious, though, of his role as an entertainer and how that impacts his relationship to golf fans around the world. Erik showed his colors quickly in this session: he's curious, thoughtful, and open about the highs and lows of competing on Tour. Just wait 'til you hear his take on the Shrink-hated Pimento Cheese sandwich. In this session: caddie relationships, love languages, and the first-ever baby appearance on GGT. As always, thanks for listening to Group Golf Therapy! #mindyourgolf

Josh Dobbs is just one year into his golf journey. The newly signed quarterback for the Cleveland Browns seeks the golf course to unwind from the mania that is the NFL season. He finds similarities between the sports, though: they're both games of inches and precision, and they require intense mental fortitude. Just last month, Josh hosted his first charity golf event, which brought together friends, family, and fellow University of Tennessee alumni to support local Knoxville organizations.
In this session: rocket science, being more open and vulnerable with your loved ones, learning an NFL playbook in a day.

Milos Bogetic has a wife and two young kids, he has a job at Chick-fil-A, he has a budding golf addiction. He also has a diagnosis of likely-terminal esophageal cancer. For the past six years, Milos has been battling a disease that doctors said would take his life in five. He keeps fighting. But with new test results showing increased severity, Milos is preparing for another lengthy treatment process. Before he restarts chemotherapy in two weeks, Milos is on a mission to soak up as many golf experiences as possible: he checked in with the Shrinks directly from Pinehurst, ahead of a mammoth week of bucket list golf.
In this session: re-contextualizing what stresses you out; what to leave family before you pass on; flying planes, driving tanks, shooting machine guns.
