Jesus said in John 17:23, “May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”

God is able to do far more abundantly than we ask or think. But even Christians and people who go to church can get discouraged and lose heart. Today, we are going to study Ephesians 3 and see why God’s people can live with courage and confidence. Maybe you are going through a tough time.

You take approximately 23,000 breaths every day, but when was the last time you thanked God for one of them? We tend to thank God for the things that take our breath away. And that's fine. But maybe we should thank him for every other breath too!

There may come a point in a person’s life when that becomes an unyielding defiance against God and he or she refuses to let the Spirit speak. At that point, God finally says, “You want to do this on your own? You want me out of your life? Okay.” Or to put it another way, the only unpardonable sin is refusing to let God pardon you.

The Lord Jesus wants “normal” to be Spirit-filled Christians. Stephen gives us a picture of the normal Christian life. Full of faith and the Holy Spirit. Full of grace and power.

WALK BY THE SPIRIT as a Follower of Jesus Christ.We must walk by the Spirit to have victory. “But if you are willingly led by the Spirit, then you are not under the Law.” The Holy Spirit writes God’s Law on our hearts so that we desire to obey Him in love.

Mary in a word was: OVERWHELMED. Like the prophet Isaiah, who said, “Lord, I am overwhelmed. Please come to my help.” A lot of things can overwhelm us. Grief, guilt, grudges, worry can overwhelm us, responsibilities, circumstances…

Believe it or not, that the tomb was empty that morning when Peter got there is a fairly agreed upon fact. Obviously not everyone believes Jesus rose from the dead, but just about every scholar agrees that a man named Jesus really lived, that he was executed by the Romans, was buried, and that on the 3rd day, the tomb where he had been laid was found empty. On those points there is no substantial disagreement. The question for debate is, “How did the tomb get empty?” There are really only three options.

In John 14:6 Jesus tells us that He is the Way to Heaven and that He is the Way to knowing God. Today, many people are just living in the moment. Now, we should take each day at a time, but we must also live with eternity in mind.
