Hi beautiful souls, the time has come and it is the Aries new moon solar eclipse visible across North America on the 8th of April! This will be Tuesday the 9th of April if you’re in Australia like me. Though as we know we can feel the energy strongly a few days either side of the peak. This is the partner eclipse to the Libra full moon eclipse that happened towards the end of March a few week backs around the 23rd/24th if you recall. Whilst Libra will return later in the year with more eclipse energy to come, we won’t see eclipse energy in Aries again for the rest of 2024 until it returns at the end of March in 2025.
Thus sets the scene with another bonus new year energy start if you haven’t felt that yet with all guns are blazing with this energy about new beginnings and fresh starts. Aries kickstarts the zodiac as we know and with the eclipse chapters, Aries points towards our future and destiny astrologically.
The solar eclipse will temporarily have the sun, representing our life force and energy, disappear. Eclipses energetically impact people differently, either you may be highly energised perhaps even restless and impatience. On the other hand it can also trigger intense emotions and exhaustion too. Do note this energy remains for the next six months if you aren’t necessarily feeling any changes immediately again this is very personal and depends on each person and their chart.
With the momentary darkness it’s also symbolic of being cosmically guided to turn within, as with the eclipses some believe it is not about manifesting as traditionally with a new moon but more being aware of the present moment, taking a moment to reflect and pointing our intentions towards the future. This is further amplified by the independent nature of Aries as opposed to Libra in the lunar eclipse last time where I talked about how relationships were more of a thematic.
As part of the current collective energies, take note we are currently in Mercury Retrograde since the beginning of April until the end around the 25th so take extra care in ensuring clear communications and the well known potential impacts on technology and travel too. Especially with Aries collective energy it can be easy to let fiery energy take over in communications so be mindful of passion, anger, zest and blunt honesty.
Chiron the planet representing the wounded healer will also be taking part of the action, astrologically aligning in the heart of the solar eclipse. Energetically, traditionally Chiron in Aries collectively may bring up the following themes:
Wound of the self: confidence and being self assured
The sun represents the masculine and Aries is ruled by Mars which is also headstrong and masculine in nature; so perhaps anything around the masculine including male figures such as father ones and qualities like taking action, guidance and protection.
Taking all of this into account with the new moon solar eclipse; here are some journal prompts to consider;
What new insights or paths are being illuminated for you right now in your path of healing?
If you are feeling off track, what is being revealed to help you get back on track with your destiny in this lifetime?
Have you been stopping into your power by taking actual action in regards to your desires and dreams? If not what’s holding you back from taking action and how could you potentially overcome this?
In what area of your life, have you been giving power away or leaking power in your life?
In what way has a dominating energy triggered you into feeling less of your full powerful self?
Check in and reflect on your current perspective of your self worth and sense of identity.
The last time Chiron in Aries was temporarily between April – September 2018 and February 2019, you may want to reflect what was going on for you in terms of the above for further context and check in from then vs now. More Aries new moon eclipse journaling prompts later on in this episode.
Pisces is also a part of the cosmic forces and it’s presence is highly spiritual reminding us to hold steady with our faith and belief with everything unfolding, that it is helping us to be more aware and grow (even when it doesn’t actually feel like it at this moment in time right now).
Feeling into my personal perspective and channeling on the current collective energies and April 2024 generally: l I really believe it’s all about tapping into our inner fire: think themes of renewal, resparking the flame, processing anger that may be within ourselves in a healthy and motivating manner.
There’s a momentum, energy is moving as opposed to slowing which was really felt heavily at the end of March. With the fire comes the light, there’s been a huge density between the lunar eclipse to now: heaviness, emotions, anxiety; so much more light is trickling in and thus forcing out denseness to emerge and be lifted and cleansed.
It doesn’t feel quiet nor calm, I know I said at the beginning going inwards but more feeling an energy. The theme of chaos comes up but it’s more like a lot is going on, embracing all that pops up and navigating with a sense of adventure as opposed to overwhelming destruction.
Rounding out this episode and the journaling questions for the Aries new moon solar eclipse in April 2024 are the following:
In what ways are you battling yourself? Are you fighting or at war with yourself? If so how can you realign with support?
The last time there was a similar Aries eclipse to the current was in April 2005, this may serve as reflection point for you during this time to consider.
Where do your current passions in life lie and where have you lost passion in your life? Is it time to let go for a new one or can it be resparked? Where could you be more fired up in life?
What clarity do you currently have on your purpose and destiny? How can you put this into action moving forward over the next six months?
Thinking of you during this solar eclipse and should you need further support and guidance, I invite you to connect with me for either 1:1 coaching or a human design reading, currently there is plenty availability in April! Grateful for you beautiful soul, until next time: love & positivity.
Unveiling the butterfly effect in this podcast episode to dive deeper into your personal development and growth journey. What exactly is the butterfly effect? What role does the butterfly effect play in your life? This episode shares real examples of the butterfly effect and how it intertwines with universal laws and concepts such as karma.
Work with Phi
Hi beautiful souls, today’s podcast is all about the butterfly effect. It’s seemingly following me everywhere and I felt called to speak about it after my most recent Instagram post and then one of the books I’ve been reading ended funnily enough with an epilogue titled ‘The Butterfly Effect.’
The metaphor of the butterfly effect isn’t actually spiritual in nature, in fact it’s origin came from two sources according to the research I’ve done. In fact the butterfly effect has been adopted to various areas of life from relationships to marketing in businesses.
The most well known origin of the butterfly effect is that of mathematician and meteorologist Edward Lorenz who asked the metaphorical question in the 1960’s of does the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas?
From that perspective came of how a single flap of a butterfly’s wings can be so instrumental in creating an impact, such as a tornado. This is rooted in chaos theory which from my understanding put simply is the study of surprises and the unpredictable.
Another is 1950’s short story titled ‘A Sound of Thunder’ by Ray Bradbury which exemplifies the butterfly effect metaphorically and somewhat physically. It is set in 2055 where time travel is possible and wealthy adventurers have the opportunity to make use of this so they go back to the age of dinosaurs. One particular adventurer wanted to hunt dinosaurs and had been told the importance of sticking to the marked trail, one thing leads to another and he carelessly steps on a butterfly in pursuit of a dinosaur changing the course of history in the future. The adventurers return to 2055 where the world has been altered for the worse, language no longer makes sense, an evil dictator is in charge only to be confused and see the crushed butterfly under his boot.
The butterfly effect is back in the spotlight recently making waves on social media with people sharing how the smallest of things have had the biggest influence in their lives such as myself simply deciding to start an anonymous Instagram page out of my passion for mental health has now led to me being a life coach full time for almost two and a half years coming up three soon, wild!
The butterfly effect in real life can play out in all sorts of ways such as missing a plane which ended up being in an accident, or in a change moment deciding to go to a dinner you didn’t want to go to where you end up meeting the love of your life. For example stubbing your toe so you can no longer go out on a Friday night and you’re bummed that you’re missing out on fun evening but then receiving an important call with news that you may have otherwise ignored or missed.
A really beautiful story that I came across recently resonated with the butterfly theory and how the it can truly be the little small things that make a huge difference. This story is called ‘The Star Thrower’ by Loren Eiseley an American anthropologist.
Once upon a time, there was an old man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach every morning before he began his work. Early one morning, he was walking along the shore after a big storm had passed and found the vast beach littered with starfish as far as the eye could see, stretching in both directions.
Off in the distance, the old man noticed a small boy approaching. As the boy walked, he paused every so often and as he grew closer, the man could see that he was occasionally bending down to pick up an object and throw it into the sea. The boy came closer still and the man called out, “Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?”
The young boy paused, looked up, and replied “Throwing starfish into the ocean. The tide has washed them up onto the beach and they can’t return to the sea by themselves,” the youth replied. “When the sun gets high, they will die, unless I throw them back into the water.”
The old man replied, “But there must be tens of thousands of starfish on this beach. I’m afraid you won’t really be able to make much of a difference.”
The boy bent down, picked up yet another starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean. Then he turned, smiled and said, “It made a difference to that one!”

Butterflies are generally a huge symbol spiritually in themselves they represent metamorphosis, change and transformation. They are a symbol representative of life: the soul, new beginnings, re birth, a sign from the other side that our loved ones are still with us (again beautifully something seemingly small and simple as butterfly can give great comfort, reassurance and meaning). Butterflies are known to be messengers from the spiritual realm. Butterflies are sign of progression and evolution: expansion, going through hardship making it to the other side: freer and lighter.
Taking all of this in, how can you harness and make the most of the butterfly effect?
We often focus on the big pivotal moments yet it often truly is the so called little things. This is part of one of the chapters in my book; The Great Unlearning: Awakening to living an Aligned and Authentic Life, Chapter 4: Massive Action or Is It? where I talk about as a society we’ve learnt: Go hard or go home.
Success is all about big, bold moments and quantum leaps that result in instant success. Acknowledging how these moments are instrumental and a part of the journey but in my own experience looking back at how I am where I am now, it isn’t only that!
The importance of simply just doing: consistent imperfect action. In fact I start the unlearning section of the chapter by writing: “Rome wasn’t built in one day, and neither are you or your dreams. An age-old saying attributed to Desmond Tutu goes, ‘There is only one way to eat an elephant: a bite at a time.’ Every little bit counts because it all adds up.’
A quote that really brings this home is by Bruce Barton, “Sometimes when I consider what tremendous consequences come from little things. I am tempted to think there are no little things.”
Know that your actions are important and make a significance to this world and you may not even realise it. A moment of kindness like a smile at someone has stopped someone from potentially harming themselves and believing in the goodness of humanity as an example or leaving a tip when you’re able to makes a difference to someone being able to pay rent or have a meal that week.
Know that something you do could inspire someone else in such a big way such as if you were a nurse caring dutifully for a patient, that could inspire a young woman whose Grandma is being cared for and inspire her to be a nurse in the future. You may never even know unless that person decided to share how you have inspired them.
The butterfly effect puts you in a position of power and action, everything you do will have an impact whether directly impacting you or someone else or thing in this world. Everything is interconnected.
We can apply the Butterfly effect to a real example of something inconsequential something going wrong leading to something very right. Scottish researcher, Alexander Flemming in a lab had been experimenting with influenza. He went away for two weeks returning to see mold had formed on the plate he was using. This would change the world. Published reports have Fleming saying: “One sometimes finds what one is not looking for. When I woke up just after dawn on Sept. 28, 1928, I certainly didn’t plan to revolutionise all medicine by discovering the world’s first antibiotic, or bacteria killer. But I guess that was exactly what I did.”
To powerfully extend this I think of when you’re feeling down, you never realise how something so small such as getting out of bed, getting some sunlight or movement can really shift your state and how you are feeling. In these states it’s often called for gratitude and I think about how the world could do with more appreciation, and how simply appreciation can have huge effects on our own mood and it’s expression; the people we appreciate.
In a different state when going after your dreams, desires and manifestations it’s about taking a step towards it – that may indeed have the butterfly effect. If you want to be able to run a marathon, start by buying the pair of shoes and going for a walk. If you want to be a famous singer, carving out time to practice and working your way up to perform. If you want to be healthier, it may be incorporating more movement into your day, even 5 minutes whilst seemingly insignificant with the butterfly effect can compound and become more.
With this, there is also this sense of a responsibility to do our best in being conscious of what we do relating to karma! Everything leaves an impression and karma has us accountable whether in this lifetime or next, and it can also be a perspective of seeing your life as it is now too.
Karma can be quite an activating term with an emotional charge, there are so many facets, layers and understandings on it. I say this with great compassion and urge whilst there can be many perspectives that may explain circumstances and situations we find ourselves in whether it be ourselves or things out of our hand, completely beyond our control: we can’t ever know for sure why things happen in our lives, the important thing is to focus on the present and what we can do in our control and how we respond to that outside of it.
Cause and effect, karma can also intertwine from the perspective of the universal law of cause and effect along the lines of Newtown’s third law: “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” This highlights the importance of yes what we do but also who we are being.
I hope today’s episode has a butterfly effect in your life whether it’s hearing something that sparks and ignites something within you, that it contained a sign you were asking for or even by sharing this episode with someone it could help them! To end this episode I’d like for you to consider this question and journal prompt, “what is your butterfly effect?” Until next time beautiful soul, love and positivity.
The astrological air right now is thick and intense! This episode is all about the Libra Lunar Eclipse taking place in March 2024. Phi shares the themes of the lunar eclipse as well as journaling prompts to help you gain greater insight into your shadow, karma and relationships.

I’ve just come back from some time in India and Vietnam which I’m processing and whewwwwww we are in the thick of some astrological air aren’t we! It’s all been leading up to here.
We are officially in the astrological new year which begins with the first sign of the Zodiac Aries that happened a few days ago March 19th. Personally returning home with this eclipse energy, I’ve been sleeping and napping more than ever. It feels like a big detox and purge feeling more tired and sick than usual. Also a lot of vivid dreams and random downloads during meditation. Feeling more inward, introverted and hermitting than usual.
So what’s going on? We happen to be in the middle of a cycle of Aries-Libra eclipses that started last year in April around the 21st and will end next year at the end of March 2025.
Last year it was one foot in the old series of Taurus and Scorpio, but this year we are all in on Aries and Libra focusing on the push pull tension of independence, autonomy vs in relationship and connection.
Eclipses come in opposing pairs and each pairing happens every 18 years. The last time the Aries and Libra pairing occurred was between 2004 to 2006, so it may be worth reflecting what happened for you then.

There’s no denying eclipse season is intense as the energy supercharges the full moon and new moon by tenfold. Remember intense doesn’t mean bad! Bursts of intensity can be helpful and I’m sure that’s something Aries teaches us.
Over two weeks so much growth, change and transformation can occur. It all starts on on March 25th with the Full Moon Libra lunar eclipse bringing into play Librian areas of life: relationships, balance.
Before the Solar Eclipse in Aries brings new beginnings, the Lunar eclipse can often bring endings and a magnitude of emotions.
The lunar aspect being the moon signals and indicates our inner realm and rules over our emotions, internal motivations and the feminine aspects of who we are. PSA with these feminine energies at times this can involve a female in our lives whether that’s a mother, sister, cousin, friend, boss etc.
The eclipse moon is different to the full moon in that it brings out the shadow (the Earth’s shadow falls on the face of the moon) – so what can emerge is more information, insights, revelations as well as resurface shadow aspects that previously have been blocked, hidden or unseen.
Simply put dredge up stuff you’ve not been aware of or ignoring really. At this time the veil is also thin between past, present and future, it’s a beautiful time to go more inwards and receive information and downloads such as through meditation or any other practices that help you to go within.
In particular this eclipse hones in on relationships (platonic, professional and romantic) with Venus conjunct Saturn. Venus rules Libra and represents relationships. When we introduce Saturn into the realm of relationships this is about discipline and reality checks.
Saturn can also cause a slow down or delay forgoing instant gratification and leaning into the more long term, aligned, practical and a test of commitment.
When we factor in that this full moon brings in karmic destiny energy it represents letting go of what no longer serves, what we’ve outgrown and what we need to leave behind in order to move forward. People that often enter or exit during these periods can often feel karmic too. This is a clearing of past karma in play.
Thus prepare yourself for what can be seen as a cosmic cleansing and course corrections. This is against the backdrop of Pisces planetary positions which can be dreamy, moody but ultimately spiritual. Not only that off the back of Pisces season, a time that teaches us about letting go and surrender, trusting in higher frequencies meant for us.
Who are the most important relationships in your life?
What relationships are you holding onto that no longer serve you and have run their course? Where are you stuck in those relationships out of guilt, obligation, fear or comfort?
Are there any current dynamics at play in relationships that don’t serve you? Any patterns or repetitions you can see emerging? Examples being people pleasing, avoidance, triggers, lack of boundaries, holding back the truth, seeking validation and approval
Do you feel that your current relationships are fair and balanced?
Are you seeing relationships for what they are or are you perhaps blinded by idealisation or ignorance?
What has been holding you back in relationships?
What don’t you like about the way you behave in relationships (the shadow aspect of self)?
What role does feminine energy play in your relationships?
Where in your relationships perhaps healing and forgiveness needs to take place?
Which relationships in your life are cultivating greater spiritual growth and evolution for you?
What situations call for more harmony?
Is there any person that comes to mind repeatedly during this time period which may be a sign of unresolved karma?
Reflect back to the solar eclipse of October 14th 2023 last year as the starting point to this full moon, when the new moon was in Libra. Things maybe circling back or coming to a full circle moment here. The prelude to that was when the whole eclipse series began July 2023. Thus the final journaling prompt, how have your relationships changed since mid October last year?
Eclipses have this funny way of speeding up and changing timelines, it can feel as though life has sudden, unexpected, rapid and abrupt changes that unfold with great speed or momentum out of nowhere. Given eclipses have such great energy and power, the universe can really force us to change and move if we have been stuck, stagnant or caught in old cycles, the pressure is turned up.
Lunar eclipse season is a time to lay low and lather on self care: slowing down, grounding, resting, naps, salt water baths, being gentler, reflection, meditation and journaling can be helpful. Unexpected things can pop up so create more space in your calendar and schedule in longer time than usual to complete big projects. Letting go practices such as letter writing, burning what no longer serves you, decluttering, cleansing spaces can be beneficial.
Wishing you a powerful release with this eclipse season beautiful soul, until next time.

This episode is short and sweet all about the Leap Year in 2024, the 29th of February 2024. Phi talks about the energetic themes emerging from this special day that happens once every four years.
This episode also provides some journaling prompts for the Leap Year in 2024.

Happy Leap Year Day! As we speak I’m getting ready to head to India and Vietnam for work so this episode is going to be short, sweet and punchy. I’m really excited about the guests that’ll be featuring on the podcast whilst I’m away for two weeks. As you all know I am running a retreat in August later this year in Bali that’s sold out and before I hold space and facilitate, I am also attending a retreat in India! I’ve never been before so a whole new adventure awaits. The lead up to it has been interesting, lots happening and I’m sure lots to transpire and share after.
Today is February 29th as I record this episode and it’s a leap year that comes every 4 years. The last time we had a leap year was amongst the huge global change and shift in consciousness that was in February 29th 2020. Given leap years don’t happen all too often, this date I feel energetically holds space to reflect. What was life like for you 4 years ago around this time?
A leap year is made to account for lost time, giving us an additional calendar day every four years. In this is also an opportunity to get back into balance and harmony especially given the last few weeks have been energetically intense. Where do you need more balance and harmony in your life right now?
Every leap year holds the master energy of 11 which I’ve spoken about in a couple of energy updates already this year but to remind you its the number of the master architect, it’s about the vision, the plan and intuition.
The numerology of the leap year 2+9+2+2+0+2+4 = 21 = 2 + 1 = 3. The number 3 in numerology is linked to Jupiter which is all about abundance and being an 8 year of course, the energy is strong for abundance. It could be a time to look at your finances, to work on your money mindset and/or manifest money. There’s also that saying that goes good things come in 3…
Astrologically Mercury is harmoniously dancing with Jupiter at the moment so despite there being some thick and heavy karmic energy in the air, this portal represents optimism, hope and joy.
A leap can also be embodied by well the leap of faith, the fool tarot card, symbolising a jump into the unknown, anything is possible! A leap of faith is also akin to a quantum jump, timelines can shift, massive growths, a surge in your transformation and changes can happen all in a moment. There’s a window for breakthroughs to occur. There’s a window for spiritual awakenings to happen. With all portals yes it’s most potent on the day of but the portal opens for a few days aside. As with any portal pay attention to signs and synchronicities that pop up, the cosmic coincidences that are at play.
In ancient Irish Folklore it was said that Saint Brigid, like the Goddess Brigid of light made a deal with Saint Patrick where back in the day a deal was struck where women could propose to men to balance things out and make it even. In Illinois of 1948 women flirty took the power from men and supposedly jokingly arrested men who were unmarried and single. Nowadays times have certainly changed but I like the sentiment of being bold, breaking through traditions amplifying leap of faith and confidence as an energetic thread for today’s leap year day.
To end, I thought I would share a few journaling prompts if you’re feeling the call to use this additional day thanks to the leap year and portal to reflect:
Thanks for tuning in beautiful soul, wishing you all the luck, abundance and joy with this leap day in 2024. Until next time, love and positivity.
This episode unpacks and explains the 222 Portal in February 2024. The significance of angel number 222. This year particularly in 2024, the 222 portal heavily leans into manifestation and all things love, dating, romance and relationships. Other 222 portal themes will be shared including a 222 portal manifestation technique with a twist!
Work with Phi
Hello beautiful soul,
You must be listening and here for the tea on the 222 portal in 2024! Before I go into that I wanted to share with you that next week I’m doing a live self love workshop yes! This month is February or should I say Feb-you-ary and in recent times everyone talks about being mindful… but what about being heartful? Heartful is the live 60 minute workshop I’ll be doing next Tuesday on the 27th at 7:30pm AEDT Sydney time and if you can’t make it, there will be a replay sent out within 24 hours! It only costs $44.44 AUD which is roughly $30 USD.
Now let’ s talk about the 222 portal for 2024. 222 is an angel number for balance, trust, cooperation and harmony. Some believe this portal has been open since 2/2 which is the 2nd of February and the 22nd representing 222 is when the energy is at its peak.
Let me break it down for you with themes that arise for the 222 portal in 2024;
This year in particular there is the energy of love and partnerships. During the 222 portal, legendary lover planets, the ultimate power couple Venus and Mars are coming together in the sky. This happens every 2-3 years. Thus in February 2024 with this meeting, you can see it as kicking off a new cycle in terms of love, dating and relationships.
Venus represents feminine energy, and is all about love, beauty, money and harmony.
Mars represents masculine energy and is all about taking action, assertiveness and growth.
This is symbolic of union in relationships as well as balancing masculine and feminine energies.
Themes to consider: sensuality, sexuality, desire, attraction, magnetism and willpower.
The last time Venus and Mars linked up was in March 2022 so it’s worth reflecting on your attitude, approach and actions towards love, partnerships and the balance of feminine and masculine energy.
Not only that this is taking place in a year where we have Aries in the north node (all about independence) and Libra in the south node (all about partnerships).
Very well during this time it’s a great to manifest and call in love. What are you desiring in partnership? It’s also good to be discerning about dating around this time because the Venus Mars transit may activate soul contracts: it could be karmic, it could be your soul mate or twin flame or it could be a soul that’s here to activate and teach you.
If you currently have a partner, this transit is a great time to pause and reflect on how you are feeling in your relationship — is it time to rejuvenate and revamp? Reset – getting back on the same page? Refocus – if you’ve been neglecting your relationship and partner as a priority? Recement your connection with romance? There could be the opportunity to respark a relationship, reigniting attraction, being more playful and deepening intimacy, vulnerability and connection.
If you are going through a break up the 222 portal has beautiful energy around healing and finding your own two feet again. It takes two to tango in a relationship so perhaps it’s prompting reflection on your role and their role in the break up. 222 is also an angel number for peace, so perhaps it’s finding peace within yourself and why the separation has occurred.
Individually this portal speaks to us reflecting on balance and harmony within ourselves and our lives especially when the south node is in the sign of the scales Libra.
Where is there an imbalance in your life currently?
What areas of your life require more co-operation or collaboration perhaps?
We have beauty from Venus and the fire of Mars coming together it’s also a great opportunity to get creative!
How can you creatively represent your manifestation? We know writing and vision boards, how about a painting? A song? A poem? A sculpture?
Perhaps you will be inspired to be amongst beauty and let your beauty shine too.
Particularly tuning into the energy of this week it has been very intense and the 222 portal if you are feeling a lot and going through a lot is a beautiful reminder of the duality of life. You can have amazing things going on in your life as well as challenges. You can be happy and sad at the same time.
Duality also reminds us that when we are going through a tough or difficult time, what could be on the other side.
Is a clearing and crumbling taking place in your life to allow the new to be planted and grow?
Is one door closing so that another can open?
A playful technique to get you in the vibe of the portal is the 2 x 22 manifesting technique. Manifestation is the vibe with the 222 portal given ’22’ itself is a master number known as the ‘master builder’ or ‘master architect’ number.
Master Architect 22 the dreaming as in having and holding a big vision, seeing it through the lens of a bigger picture perspective.
Master Builder 22 the embodied action of bringing ideas and concepts into reality as the builder. It speaks to practicality, making it achievable, breaking it down that’s how things get built! A master builder number is about doing the work to make it happen too.
Pick a manifestation to focus on and write down a present version affirmation.
For example instead of I am manifesting a partner, write I am so excited about dating and meeting my partner. I feel so loved, happy and grateful.
The portal peaks of course on the 22nd of February but it’s still open for a few after, so if you’re listening it’s not too late! And that 7 dates later it’s the 29th of February because this year happens to be a leap year!
Write down your manifestation down 22 times, twice a day for two days in a row! Alternatively or additionally say it out loud too!
As we know manifestations mean nothing if there isn’t an element of feeling and really believing the manifestation is possible so imbue it with as much feeling and conviction mentally and within your body as possible. My own twist I suggest to the 222 manifesting technique is to think of 22 ways to get started on making your manifestation a reality or dedicating 22 days in a row to taking action towards your manifestation. Two’s company, get together with a friend or loved one and amplify your manifestations by doing a little ritual and celebration of 222 and speaking about it with each other.
Who would’ve thought that spiritual tantrums would offer some profound insight into who you are on a deeper level. This episode unpacks spiritual tantrums and how to navigate spiritual tantrums including perspectives on how to shift the way you see and feel about spiritual tantrums in your personal growth and development journey.

Hello beautiful soul, how have you been feeling this week?
Collectively in human design we’ve had the energy of the feels. Deep feelings.
I’ve observed this within myself as an emotional authority in human design as well as in sessions with clients too.
It’s those heavier, harder hitting feelings. The feelings you can’t run away from or ignore. The acute awareness and pressure of how deeply you are feeling something.
When we feel so much it can bottle up and then come exploding out. At times we don’t know what to do with all these feelings and so accordingly, I thought it would be really interesting to delve into the concept of spiritual tantrums this week.
Spiritual tantrums are those moments when our emotions seem to spiral out of control, challenging our ego and inner peace. Things aren’t going the way we want. It renders you feeling powerless, helpless, defeated, deflated and disheartened.
It’s not just children who have tantrums, as adults we do too. Perhaps our inner child within feeling frustrated at how life is going and what is unfolding for us.
Thus a tantrum arises, we want to scream, beg, kick, cry and twist the arm of the universe to have something done exactly in the way we want, how we want it and when we want it. If only! We know life doesn’t work like this.
Even though we know deep down what needs to be done and letting self discipline and self responsibility kick in… no I don’t want to adult today. No I don’t want to be conscious and aware today. No I don’t want to be here now in the present moment. No this sucks, it’s not real, everything I’ve been trying to manifest hasn’t happened yet it’s all fake.
Sometimes the tantrum calls for a deep frustration, rage that has us boiling, figurative steam blowing out of your ears – the ego cries it’s not fair!
Other it calls for retreating into a corner or fetal position sulking and sadness, feeling sorry for oneself – the ego cries poor me.
Some moments you hear yourself whispering but it’s not fair, I did everything I was supposed to. I do all the right things yet nothing – the ego cries I’m feeling entitled.
The ego jumps into default, why is this happening, what did I do to deserve this?
All valid responses too I might add, we are human after all! When things aren’t going our way it does suck. It can induce anger. It can induce tears.
A spiritual temper tantrum is normal. It’s often a symptom things are changing around you in a way that’s stretching your normal tolerance, it’s uncomfortable, it’s edgy. It’s showing you that you’re going beyond your established limits, to break free often from repetitive patterns and anything else that holds you back. It’s an authentic part of the human experience.
Like most children who have a tantrum, throwing every toy possible out of the cot, getting louder, whining, getting mopier, begging, pleading, bargaining… we hope that through the outburst things will go away, but cooling reality quickly comes into play. You can throw as many tantrums as you want, it doesn’t mean you’ll get your way. It doesn’t mean you’ll get the full undividing attention of the universe.
Seeing the universe as our parent, the most loving and strongest force will not give into our tantrums because the universe and life itself has a grand plan for our greatest growth and expansion. The greatest commitment the universe made to you is taking on the full responsibility to see your highest evolution in this lifetime.
Having a spiritual tantrum from time to time is healthy, in honouring the emotions that arise but we ought to be conscious of how this plays out in our life, if this impacts other people, doing it publicly vs privately within a safe space with support.
Can we see that when we throw a tantrum that this is an invitation from the universe to go deeper within ourselves. The tantrums aren’t bad, they give us an opportunity to get to courageously face our inner turmoil head on and reveal where are needs aren’t being met (by ourselves, not the universe… what if the outward tantrum isn’t to the universe but a mirror to ourselves and perhaps our inner child seeking our full attention.
Perhaps these emotional eruptions are not random; they are messengers, delivering important insights about our inner landscape. Can you ask yourself some questions such as:
What is the underlying cause of my emotional reaction? What is this really about?
What unmet needs are driving these intense feelings?
What patterns or beliefs am I holding onto that no longer serve me?
Am I feeling empowered or hindered?
The answers will vary from person to person but often the root cause can stem from unmet expectations. The clash and contrast between our internal expectations and external reality. Maybe it’s a result of spiritual bypassing, ignoring and pretending things are okay, that we are at peace and not honouring the truth and shadows within bubbling to the surface.
Take inspiration from dealing with tantrums whether toddlers or adults (I’ve seen my fair share back in the day especially working in retail!) that time out, taking a step back and space can do wonders, that kindness and love help. That guidance and talking to someone can be soothing.
In closing of this episode, amongst my own musings, some pearls of perspective to share to help you shift out of spiritual tantrums:
Spiritual tantrums are a stark, tough yet beautiful reminder that the path of spiritual growth and development is not always smooth or linear; it’s messy, raw, and very human. By meeting spiritual tantrums with curiosity, self awareness and compassion we can use them to further springboard our growth and development. May we continue to honour the full spectrum of all our emotions to be more aligned and authentic in life.
This episode is all about the Aquarius Super New Moon taking place February 2024 this week ushering in the Year of the Dragon. Phi shares updates on the energetic themes at play which are intense (planetary pile up in Aquarius) and shares soothing affirmations and journaling prompts to tap into the energy of the Aquarius Super New Moon too.

Hello beautiful soul,
Well well well we are in for a cosmic ride! Last week I spoke about the upcoming Lunar New Year and just before it to end the week is the Aquarius New Moon that precedes it. The 9th in the northern hemisphere and 10th in the southern if you’re in Australia like me. It’s not just any new moon, it happens to be a super new moon. As it’s a new moon it’s not visible in the sky, so think of this as a blank canvas and reset.
Astrologically there’s a lot going on and I always like to channel and distill the important parts that I think are relevant to you listening to this podcast. I won’t beat around the bush by saying off the bat this isn’t a grounding, nourish new moon this is an electric charged, potent super new moon pushing into the new out of your comfort zone. After all it’s an Aquarius Super New Moon bringing in the year of the Dragon for 2024.
It really is all about Aquarius with this energy, you’ve got a planetary pile up; the sun, moon here, Pluto, mercury with Venus and and Mars to join too.
This super new moon you can think of an energetic reset as I’ve said earlier some deem it the true new year. The super new moon aspect think of it just amplifying and magnifying the energies so things feel more intense. Your emotions feel more intense. Your thoughts feel more intense.
More over with this super new moon what I’m feeling into is funky, and yes uncomfortable and unpredictable. There’s a feeling of restlessness in the air. A sprinkle of existentialism.
This is set in motion for a first in our lifetime event when Mercury (the planet of communication) enters Aquarius and aligns with Pluto (the truth teller). In addition to that we have the new moon in a challenging position squaring Uranus (the unexpected) in the sign of Taurus (fixed aspects, stubborn nature).
Expect shakes up. Truths to come up. There’s tension. There’s pressure. Things from the past re-emerge once again (to be cleared). It’s this feeling and sensation of wanting to break free and we are being challenged to let go, surrender and move forward with courage and authenticity.
With this influence we may need to say and speak up what we don’t often want to, confronting things to say out loud (Aquarius and Mercury together are all about communication, ideologies).
Aquarians are known to have a tough exterior and it feels like with all these planetary placements, it’s been astrological organised to have a cracking open experience and sensation which can be painful at first but ultimately for the best to open us up, unravelling deeper layers of ourselves, to shed what no longer serves us.
This is about confronting ourselves and being willing to go beneath the surface, into our psyche and subconscious. In this we can find the underlying cause, the root of the problem which is the medicine and the healing. If you know of Chiron (the wounded healer) is inching closer towards the North Node (fate and destiny) which will culminate in April so for now we are getting a taster of intense confronting healing taking place (can’t hide with the astrological energies at play).
There is tension here because the moon rules our inner world, our emotions yet it’s in Aquarius known to be more emotionally detached and the archetype of the thinker.
It’s not all dark and heavy, unexpected things aren’t always negative in nature though that’s where our mind jumps too it can also be positive. It’s really about the emergence of astrology aligning with human design: the theme of this new moon is revolution, think of it as your rebirth. Through the means of Aquarius which is going introspective, doing the thought work.
When the strong emotions come up from surprises and the past, the Aquarian energy in the air asks to bring objectivity into it – noticing where is there a strong emotional charge, using the mind to get curious and investigate further. A meeting of the heart and the mind. Finding the right balance (as is where the name Aquarius stems from the latin meaning of water-carrier and the symbolism of the water-bearer).
An exercise that may help you during this Aquarius super new moon is when you’re making decisions imagine scales or weights a balance. On one side is your heart and the other your head. If you’re really heady into something, imagine counterbalancing with what your heart is saying and vice versa if it feels really heart driven also give your mind and opportunity to offer some thoughts this will give you a holistic perspective on a situation.
This new moon is going to help us be less rigid and more flexible with everything that may arise. Rolling with the punches. Aquarius plays the long term game, so whilst it feels tough and sticky now, it’s ultimately benefiting for your future and what’s to come. There’s optimism and hope within it (as we known Aquarius is about the collective, for the people, social justice, equality).
I’m really being called to share some soothing affirmations which can help during this period and I’ll phrase them as I am speaking to you but of course when you recite out loud or in your mind you’ll say “I”.
You are capable of handling whatever comes your way.
You are safe and supported even in times of uncertainty.
You are resilient, every challenge makes you stronger.
You are worthy of love, compassion and kindness always and especially during tough times. You are worthy of your own love, compassion and kindness that you also offer to others.
You have the power to find moments of peace, calm and joy despite chaos and shake ups.
Journaling questions to close out this episode to make the most of the super new moon energy;
Has anything surprising or unexpected come to the surface this week for you? If so is there a general theme that emerges? How can going deeper on this theme help you move forward in 2024?
With any challenges or obstacles that have arisen so far, what would happen if you now come up with 3 different approaches you haven’t had before
1: Out of the box thinking
2: Creativity led
3: Unconventional
Reflect from the 1st of January until now, is there anything that has happened or come up that you’d like to set the intention to let go of, clear and start afresh?
If you have set any intentions from the 1st of January do they still feel in alignment at this point of time? Have those intentions been acted upon and how are you tracking?
What seeds and intentions do you want to set up for the year ahead at this moment in time taking advantage of the super new moon and lunar dragon energy too?
When was the last time in your life you experienced something unexpectedly? What happened, how did you feel, how did you navigate it and what was the end result?
Right now in your life where do you need a shake up or revolution and how can you go about this?
What would be really uncomfortable to talk about in your life right now? Why is that so? What insights does this give you about yourself and where you are in your life right now?
What support systems or resources can you lean on during times of uncertainty or change?
To close out this episode, give those journal prompts a good contemplation, it’s not really about the answer but the thought process that goes behind what automatically is being prompted within you. In true Aquarian nature, yes use your mind but don’t forget to let your body feel all that is coming up and release these feelings with compassion.
Until next time beautiful soul, love and positivity.

Hello Beautiful Soul,
Can you believe it’s already February. Personally for me this is the fastest January I’ve had go by in my life, most years January feels quite slow and paced but not in 2024! Speaking of which going by new years we have the upcoming Lunar New Year on the 10th in the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Dragon. This episode is all about dragon energy and personal power.
The dragon represents power, success, good fortune, courage in the Chinese Zodiac.
Within the subset of dragon, the element this year is that of wood. The last time we had the year of the dragon was in 2012 however that was the year of the water dragon. The wood element in the Chinese Zodiac is rooted in that of mighty trees.
Wood is about expansion, growth, pushing, changing, movement and progress. Wood of all the elements is alive and dynamic.
Wood is patient, grounded and down to earth.
Wood has structure: strong, reliable, organised, diving deep into the details and inner workings.
Wood seeks direction. Wood grows in the dark and moves towards the light. Just as humans do, we can grow from the darkness: the struggles and challenges. As our highest selves we move towards the light, we remember the light, we remember we come from both the dark and light.
Wood is sociable, think of the underground networks of trees of the interconnection, interaction, cooperation.
Wood is associated with the Spring Season – freshness, new beginnings, coming back to life.
The emotion of wood in the Chinese Zodiac is anger and frustration. Think of it being pent up, repression, to become wooden, hard, inflexible instead of swaying with the wind, snapping in the wind. Repressed anger comes to the surface as sarcasm, bitterness and being cynical.
Drawing from the lineage of the wood element, in the Chinese Zodiac this is linked to the element of water. From a Chinese Zodiac perspective, anger is rooted in fear. Anger is in response to fear. Anger speaks from a place of “I am scared and I need to protect myself.”
The body parts in Traditional Chinese Medicine associated with wood are the liver and gallbladder. These organs are in charge of detoxification. So of course repressing anger, it builds up, it isn’t cleared but stuck energetically in the body. When we want to escape from our feelings or ignore them what happens societally speaking? We turn to alcohol and substances that greatly impact the liver.
Drawing from research found through the lens of reiki it says if we can’t turn aggression into expression, purpose, fuel and striving towards bettering ourselves and goals that it can lead to gout, arthritis, stiff body parts, constipation, auto immune or auto aggressive disorders. Interestingly, these conditions are more often found in women, and in patriarchal cultures women have less opportunity than men do to express themselves, especially when it comes to carrying through with an idea or venting their anger.

An interesting perspective next time you feel angry at any point this year, ask yourself where is the fear here, what am I scared of? For example boundaries, being angry someone crossed it because the fear of what happens when they do – it leaves you vulnerable and at a disadvantage.
Ask yourself have I been able to express my anger in a healthy and appropriate way?
Anger is powerful weaving this all in, when we have sacred rage, there’s heat, there’s energy we take action, it motivates and drives us. Anger is something we can also hold over people in the shadow because it makes us feel powerful. Anger can give us direction, do we use our anger to move forward and away from the shadow towards the light (freedom).
It’s about transmuting the raw nature of anger into being assertive. Of course what’s being channeled through as I connect the dots to what I initially did for the 2024 energy is that of boundaries. When we are angry we decide, I don’t like this, I am not putting up with this, I am moving away from this.
The shadow of wood? The focus on expansion and growth can lose sight of the groundedness, rapid expansion in the name of ego. With ego our anger can turn to revenge and retribution – feelings of hatred, rage, aggression and fury. With ego our anger can turn to being and feeling a victim instead of stepping into our personal power.
The key with the wood element: flexibility – not being too rigid and stuck where you aren’t move but not too much that there’s no foundation and it’s easily broken. Having just spoken about power…
I think the term ‘power’ is interesting because it’s quite an emotionally and energetically charged word. Power can be seen as positive or negative depending on your life experiences and upbringing. There are distinctions within power, spiritual power – that is of self and your inner world, it could be physical power of strength, it could be cultural power – the influence of the media, social institutions, systematic power such as hierarchy, religions and politics.
In the context of spirituality power is framed around your energy, the force within you. With lunar new year let’s take inspiration from the dragon, how can you unleash and tap into your inner dragon? Dragons are considered powerful from a Chinese perspective because they have cosmic breath which is pure life force energy to create and transform. Dragons are believed to be ascended serpents which takes root in kundalini energy.
I personally love this because I see that link to human design for generators and manifesting generators especially – when you feel most alive that is when you are most magnetic, your sacral, pure life force energy. From there anything is possible, you become magnetic to manifest, you have that flow to take inspired action and do the work.
The sacral isn’t just limited to generators and manifesting generators, we can tap into our sacral and life force energy even as a manifestor, reflector or projector too.
Dragon energy is power and strength because it is to be resilient. Dragons can survive in all sorts of environments whether its land, sea or sky. With their cosmic breath they can create, they are powerful manifestors. Reflect on moments in your life where you demonstrated strength and resilience. How can you channel and cultivate this inner strength, similar to a dragon facing challenges?
Dragon energy is powerful because of their commanding presence creates authority. What does authority mean to you? How do you perceive your own authority and leadership potential? Reflect on your past leadership achievements, no matter how small. How can you acknowledge and celebrate your successes as a leader? Imagine yourself possessing a commanding presence similar to a dragon. How can you enhance your presence in various aspects of your life, whether it’s at work, in relationships, or within your community?
Dragon is yang energy (masculine and active) complemented by Phoenix energy which is (feminine and flow). Tapping into the yang masculine energy, how can you adopt a more strategic approach in your decision-making and planning, both in your personal and professional life? With these ancient wisdoms, how can you draw upon wisdom that has been perhaps shared with you?
Dragons are known for energy that gives way to rebirth and revitalisation. What very much comes to mind is that quote on Instagram:
“A lot of people feel burnt out because they feel like they’re doing too much when actually they are doing too little of the things that make make them feel alive, too little of the things that matter.” What are the things that make you feel alive and matter to you?
Dragon energy is prosperity and what I’m really channeling through is opportunities. How can you create more opportunities in your life? What opportunities are untapped within yourself, life, career and network currently? I think we are also so used to focusing on the lack and scarcity when it comes to money, so let’s flip this: reflect on the milestones and achievements in your pursuit of prosperity. How can you celebrate these victories, acknowledging the progress you’ve made?
To end this podcast episode I’d love to invite you to take part in a meditation to connect with your inner dragon.
Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable space. You may sit or lie down in a relaxed position or what I’m really channeling for effectiveness is if you can, to stand up doing this meditation. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to center yourself. Inhale slowly through your nose, hold for a moment, and let it all out through your mouth, we are channeling the dragon after all. Release your breath as you think a dragon would. Allow any tension to dissolve with each breath.
Draw upon the element of wood. Imagine grounding into the earth as if a strong mighty tree. Feel the solid ground beneath you, supporting and grounding you. Feel yourself putting down networks of roots within Mother Earth. Picture the energy of the earth rising through your body with each breath, creating a strong foundation.
Now I want you to set the intention of invoking the presence of your inner dragon. Visualise a warm light surrounding you. This light transforms into a magnificent dragon, coiled around you protectively. What colour is the dragon? It’s scales? How does it feel to look into the eyes of the dragon? How do you feel around this dragon?
Feel a sense of familiarity and trust as you recognise this as your inner dragon. Imagine the dragon’s breath as a radiant rainbow or golden energy. Inhale deeply, drawing in this powerful energy through your breath. Feel it entering your lungs, circulating through your body, and filling you with strength, courage, and vitality.
Imagine the dragon’s energy merging with yours. Feel the strength and power of the dragon infusing every cell of your being. Sense the warmth and light spreading through your body, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. Feel the dragon energy igniting a fire within you—an unyielding determination and belief in your abilities. Sense the courage and confidence flowing through you. As you bask in this powerful energy, know that you are capable of overcoming challenges and manifesting your dreams.
Now, in the presence of the dragon energy, I want you to feel truly interconnected as one with your inner dragon. Imagine your third eye merging with the eye of the dragon. What clear visions and intentions are you being shown? What are the next steps you need to take? What advice does the dragon have for you? How your dragon communicates to you may be hearing a voice, perhaps seeing a picture or symbol, a feeling within your body.
After you’ve received what you need to see, hear, feel, sense of perceive feel the bliss and gratitude you have for your inner dragon thanking it for it’s guidance, wisdom and protection. Know that your inner dragon is always within you, ready to be activated and connected to. Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment. Slowly bring your awareness back into your body. Take a few deep breaths, gradually returning to your surroundings. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes.
In conclusion, exploring the energy of the Lunar New Year Wood Dragon offers us profound insights into our own personal power and potential. The dragon, with its majestic presence and mythical qualities, serves as a powerful metaphor for strength, transformation, and prosperity.
Much like the dragon, we have the capacity to face challenges with courage and navigate the ever-changing tides of life with strength and power.
The dragon’s association with good fortune encourages us to reflect on the prosperity of life and what we have already achieved on the path to having more.
Each one of us has an inner dragon which is pure life force and untapped potential ready to be unleashed. Happy Lunar New Year Beautiful Soul, until next time, love and positivity.
