She’s a teacher, singer, songwriter, musician, and generally a multitalented person, Samantha Dowdell! Sam is currently a teacher here in Vancouver, and has worked in many different kinds of educational contexts, from summer camps to music schools. She’s the co-host, writer, and musical director on a YouTube Show called “Science Ninjas”. She also is the Executive Director of Metro Vancouver Musicians and Videographers, a new organization aimed at helping videographers, musicians, production, and talent all network to create cool projects.

In this episode, Sam shares how she combines game theory, psychology, social-emotional learning, and relationship building in her classroom to help her students succeed. We also reminisce about some of our old summer camp days, and how it brought us to our careers now.
