How planting a garden teaches us to Wait.
This spring I decided after a 30 year hiatus to plant a vegetable garden. The experience so far has been glorious. Not only do I get outside in the fresh air and get exercise bending, I have extended my knowledge of gardening using natural methods.
My tiny seeds have grown to make tomato and broccoli plants that stand tall and steady. My parsley, although extremely slow in germinating, is now showing progress. And I had almost given up but I persevered and it grew.
Much research has gone into setting up my garden. But one of the words that I encountered most often was WAIT.
