Straight from the halls of Long Beach Comic Con the “Growing up Geek”-ers Mike, Shannon and Jamie talk with Tone Ellis De Jesus who is part of the Colorado non-profit “Pop Culture Classroom”. A new curriculum designed to use comics to teach kids design, critical thinking, content analysis, communication skills and self-expression. Combining an engaging learning guide with a Convention event Tone describes the success this project has had on his community.
