Lawrence Momanyi grew up in Kenya, however due to losing his sight before he turned two, he had to learn how to overcome challenges and presumed perceptions of his disability from an early age.

In 2019, Lawrence became the first blind person in his country to graduate with a degree in economics at the University of Nairobi, and he spoke with RNIB Connect Radio to share his story.
