"No matter how depraved, I want to know the facts." When I received a summons for jury duty recently, I was annoyed at first like any normal person would be. However, unlike normal people, that annoyance was quickly replaced with hope that I would be selected and the trial would be epic. In this episode, I share the ridiculous day I had while doing jury duty that involves a hanging judge, a crazy lady shouting in a room full of people, a racist, a woman who grew up in a cult, and why the defense attorney singled me out and questioned me. While on a guided tour in Scotland this past Fall, I learned about William Burke and William Hare. Together, they were responsible for The West Port Murders that saw the death of almost 20 people in the late 1820’s.
