Sarah interviews Matty Dalrymple, author of the Ann Kinnear series and the Lizzy Ballard Series.  Ann Kinnear is a person who can sense spirits.  She is a bit conflicted about her gift, but she does use it as both a source of income and to help others.  In The Sense of Death Ann gets involved with Detective Joe Booth when he asks her to help him solve the disappearance of a Philadelphia woman.  Joe suspects her husband had something to do with the disappearance but can’t prove it without Ann’s help.  The first book in the Lizzy Ballard series is Rock Paper Scissors.  Lizzy also has abilities that are supernatural in nature, but she is a much different character than Ann, and her story takes her in a very different direction.

Sarah interviews Roberta Trahan about her 2 very different genres of fantasy.  They first talk about Roberta's Historical Fantasy Dream Stewards series which is reminiscent of Arthurian legend but takes place 500 years after Camelot.  The story centers on Alwen, a sorceress sworn to protect Hywel, the king who has been foretold to bring peace to the realm.  Next, they speak of Roberta's serial, The Realm Wraiths, which can be found on her blog and to which readers are invited to share their thoughts about how the story should develop.  The Realm Wraiths is a Contemporary, Urban Fantasy telling the story of Bliss Hoarfrost, a faerie from a realm that is threatened by the potential ecological destruction of the human race.  Tune in to find out more about both of these series!

Sarah interviews Lorena Hughes, author of The Sisters of Alameda Street.  The story centers on Malena, a 20 year old woman who goes searching for answers after her father's suicide and ends up finding more questions.  Namely, she finds a letter written from her mother when she had supposedly died in childbirth with Malena.  This letter sends Malena on a mission to find this woman, who only signs the letter with the initial A.  What Malena finds are 4 sisters, all with names beginning with A.  This begins her search to figure out which one is her mother, through the process of which she discovers numerous family secrets and also learns about herself and her own identity.

Sarah interviews K.D. Proctor, author of Meet Me Under the Stars.  In her debut novel Proctor tells the story of Charlie and Nate who are thrown back together after 3 years apart by the dictate's of Charlie's sisters' will, which stipulates that they must work together to create a memorial scholarship fund for the summer camp where they all worked as counselor and which Charlie and Gwen attended as children.  Charlie and Nate have to figure out who they are now, whether together or apart.

Sarah reviews Sophie Kinsella's novel, My Not So Perfect Life.  The book tells the story of Katie Brenner who has always dreamed of living the perfect life in London.  If someone were to only know Katie through her Instagram account they would think she does indeed have that perfect life.  But social media rarely tells the whole story and Katie's life soon begins to unravel in ways she couldn't forsee.  In contrast To Katie's life, she perceives her boss, Demeter's, life to actually be perfect.  Katie both resents and wants to emulate that perfect life.

Sarah interviews Jeanne M Dickson, author of Grounded Hearts.  This debut novel tells the story of a neutral Ireland during World War II.  Nan, an Irish midwife, finds wounded Canadian RAF pilot Dutch Whitney on her doorstep.  All combatants, regardless of which side they were on, were supposed to be turned in to be interned for the duration of the war.  Nan risks everything to hide him while he recovers from his injuries, and as they get to know each other Dutch is able to heal her as well.
