Dragnet was an American radio series, aired between 1949 and 1957 on NBC Radio, enacting the cases of a dedicated Los Angeles police detective, Sergeant Joe Friday, and his partners. It narrates every facet of police work—from paperworks and patrols, to crime scene investigations, laboratory works, and interrogation of suspects and witnesses. Actor and producer Jack Webb's aims in Dragnet were for realism and unpretentious acting. Enjoy this rebroadcast of a previous episode.
