On this college football edition of the GSMC Football Podcast host Tom Dougherty discusses the new young quarterbacks in Los Angeles. Both UCLA and USC lost their talented starter to the NFL Draft and will be grooming young prospects with crazy potential. Both Dorian Thompson-Robinson and J.T. Daniels played in and lead prolific high school programs and are now looking to do the same in college. Both are also in a bit of a competition, but are being deemed front runners already. Thompson-Robinson is a true freshman while Daniels has graduated high school a year early to get to USC now and vie for a starting job. Tom also goes over the coaches in the BIG 10 and their outlooks for this season. There are lots of questions, one of the being, will Jim Harbaugh be able to take advantage of his talented transfer QB and beat Ohio State this year and will the East Division?

On this college football edition of the GSMC Football Podcast host Tom Dougherty goes over some of the tougher non conference games scheduled this season. Teams like USC, Clemson, Notre Dame and Texas all have tough non conference games on their schedules this season. Texas and USC will be playing each other for the second consecutive season. Sam Darnold lead the Trojans to a late victory in the game last year. Tom also talks about Notre Dame and how they have annual games against USC and Stanford, both tough matchups, and also about the ACC teams they will be playing this year. Lastly, he goes back into talks about Kyler Murray and his future. Murray is expected to sign with the Oakland A's and play this season for the Oklahoma Sooners.
