Globetrotting Moscow-based DJ and producer Lay-Far and has been a long term favourite of ours. With stellar releases on top notch labels such as Local Talk, BBE, Atjazz Record Company, 4 Lux & G.A.M.M. We’ve managed to hold him down long enough to get this funk odyssey of a mix from him. Taking us through his expansive taste in rare disco, boogie, house, bass & afro grooves.

We’ve got word he’s wrapping up his 3rd LP! alongside some secret projects, so 2018 is set to be a big one for sure. Also keep an eye on the record shelves around the 24th November for his new vinyl only Lay-Far Re-Edits release on Version Galore.

Frankfurt producer Phillip Lauer takes up the reins for our next guest mix in the series. As one half of Tuff City Kids, alongside Gerd Jansen, he's been prolific on the releases and remixes front to say the least! He also somehow found time to make some solo output too and his new 'Las Brisas' release on @futureboogie is a fantastic EP including a heads down slammer, proto chuggy goodness and a floaty feel good House number called Tyco.

We're very happy to welcome @Folamour in this week's SB guestmix slot! The Frenchman has had an extremely busy year putting out some of our favourite EPs and somehow finding time to also release an album on his Moonrise Hill Material label which is so good its already been snapped up for a re-release on Classic Music.

His stock has risen sharply as a result and he's now relentlessly touring into next year so we recommend catching him in your neck of the woods asap!

Party with Admin at NT's Hackney this Friday! https://www.facebook.com/events/2040874556197736/

Belfast selector, promoter and producer Bobby Analog has a long history of playing and creating music for dancefloors which has seen his career move in somewhat of an upward trajectory in recent years.

"Mix was recorded in my tiny little studio space using my 1200's and an Allen & Heath Xone 23. I had a couple of different directions for this but I ended up showcasing my love for New York garage house, so expect lots of early Strictly Rhythm, Kerri Chandler and Mateo & Matos theres even a little AVH in there.

A lot of this stuff is what is inspiring me to write music right now so figured why not do a little compilation with some of my favourites."
