GUEST MIX SERIES

This week we’ve got the pleasure of having Matthieu Faubourg join us from France for a 80min haus workout. His killer track Please Stay has been on solid repeat at SB HQ for the last couple of months and it’s racked up a hefty half a million plays on youtube (mostly ours).

We're joined this week by the Neovinyl and Good Ratio Music boss @carlothings. Originally from Spain he's now plying his House wares in Berlin where he's collaborated with lots of our favourite music crews out there. We love his music taste so were very excited to put out his mix for us which is full of dope House packed with soul and depth.

So here we are at the 100th SlothBoogie guestmix and its been quite the journey since our site relaunch last summer when we really took the mix series up a level.

We're delighted to have welcomed some of our favourite DJs and producers' into the series over the years and none more so than @Letherette who will be be taking us up to the milestone today. Definitely check their outstanding WULF imprint and their latest EP4 release that we've been banging on about for the last month!

A big thank you to everyone who has helped us out over the years... the artists, the PRs and labels who tirelessly strive to bring good music to the masses. So here we go... strap in and crack open a cold one for the weekend ahead!

We're off on a little funk adventure this week as we welcome @theplantyherbs to the guest mix series. We fell in love with the Amsterdam based producer's laid back style when he dropped Sum Chillage on long time amigos @razor-n-tape a few years back... He's been slice and dicing some fabulous edits for them ever since and we've been totally hooked! This is the perfect mix to really soak up the remainder of those rays of sunshine before we're plunged back into the darkness of winter :(

Hailing from across the Irish sea @Hubie-Davison is in on this weeks SlothBoogie guestmix. He first came to our collective attention with ‘In_out’ on leisure system & his absolutely amazing 12" on Midland’s ‘Regraded’ label. So when we tapped him up for a mix we knew we’d be in for a treat, and boy oh boy has he delivered. Taking the tempo all over the place, through hip hop and haunting electronic soundscapes to bumping house & euphoric disco. Thats right, all in one riotous mixtape. The perfect way for us to lead you into the bank holiday weekend ’17 style.

Catch Hubbie at the Prince of Wales in Brixton this Saturday for some dancing South of the river. But without further adoo tuck into this bank holiday feast & we’ll see you tonight at NT’s, Netil House to ring in the bank holiday in style.

We're super excited to welcome Berlin based producer @xxxy into the guest mix series this week. A regular on Doc Daneeka's Ten Thousand Yen records, he's got a trademark of making tracks that melt Disco, Acid, House and Techno together and his mix will certainly take you on a diverse trip through all of those influences.

An absolute gem you'll be coming back to listen to again and again!

We're in the mix with Belgium based @Vhyce this week as we embark on an hour of muscle bound strutting Disco and House vibes.

You may recognise Vhyce from our premiere of his Just To Make Me debut on the @future-disco singles label offshoot last month... He's so prolific that he's actually just finished the next instalment for the singles series called The City EP which is out very soon so keep an eye out... http://smarturl.it/vhycecity

Astropical Tapes bossman Marcin Krupa joins us with an essential summertime vinyl only session for this week's guest mix. We premiered one of his slamming tracks back at the beginning of summer and this mix is more of that pumping Disco and House vibe that is bound to get you up for another big one at the weekend.

This week we're going straight into a bumping House work out with the Bristol based @Thrilogy. We premiered one of his first tracks making an outing on his Fate & Fiction label at the beginning of the year so its great to have him back on board with a tasty selection of Deep House jams.
