Rich has worked in the aquarium industry and trade for many years. He was a MASNA Aquarist of the year, has spoken at many industry conferences, including MACNA, written articles about the hobby and has done some ground-breaking research. He also has a coral lab at home.

Ben is an aquarium maintenance expert who has many types of clients. The name of his company is Captive Aquatic Ecosystems and it is based in Houston, Texas. Ben has also spoken at MACNA, Aquashella and Reef Stock.Currently, Ben and Rich host the very popular Reef Beef podcast.
