This week we had the pleasure of having Saman Shrestha with us on Guff Guff Pass, winner of the first-ever Himalayan Roadies Nepal, a climbing enthusiast and indeed a very interesting human. We dove deep into the world of climbing as it tries to gain a foothold in the Nepalese diaspora. As an athlete transitioning into a more vegan lifestyle, Saman gives us some insight into the benefits of it and why he personally chooses to do so. We had a lot of fun during this conversation and hope that it reflects as such for the viewers.

Roller x is a Nepali music producer who has managed to get his tag associated with some of the most promising artists in today’s Nepali music industry. This week on Guff Guff Pass, he unravelled his journey in the industry from his humble beginnings with class x presentation, moving to Dubai and working there, and eventually finding his feet as a producer putting out some of the sickest tracks we often find ourselves mumbling to lately. The dude had some exhilarating stories to share and we’re glad to have been witnesses to it.

This week we finally got to sit with Neha Gurung Shrestha, a dessert enthusiast with her own brand (Dessert First) that is trying to revolutionize the dessert culture in Nepal, and also a recently turned mother. Having had the same boarding school experiences in the districts of Darjeeling, we got to relive some of those nostalgic and some not so moments. Neha also shares her experiences as a new mother as well as about being pregnant in the midst of the worst pandemic of the 21st century. From Darjeeling to Kathmandu, she has slowly but surely made her mark and continues to do so through her zestful aura, and now with dessert first, one bite at a time.

A No-holds-bar untethered to fabrication, no sugar-coating mayhem of a podcast with the one and only Ease is Easy. Defying the traditional avatar carried out by modern-day rappers, Ease brings a more relatable portrayal to the character with no compensation whatsoever to his penmanship. From name-drops to callouts, the GGP boys had to literally hold on to their seats as the episode unfolded. We got to hear a pov on various topics that serve not only as a reality check but is also refreshing having been coddled within the valley. We hope you don’t miss out on this episode as it makes its way up the ladder to being one of our personal favourites.

As we engage in hilarious and illuminating conversations, Parakram provides us with an insider’s scoop of the world behind the Bollywood silver screen as well as his takes on a few recent affairs. A staunch member of the LGBTQIA community in Nepal and India, Parakram also walked us through the innate problems that he still faces but is optimistic about the movement.
