VICTORIA'S DECISION to buck a parliamentary committee's recommendation to ban duck hunting is not only significant for hunters, but all shooters - wherever they are - and whether they are hunters, target shooters or gun collectors.
IN THIS EPISODE, we explain how the recommendation came about, and the politics around it.
We talk about the impact this has for gun dealers, shooters who just want to get away for the weekend, politicians, the economy - and why this is such a pivotal decision for shooters who aren't even hunters.
It was a win against well funded hard-core left wing groups - but we also know they will try again soon.
This is our fifteenth episode - and we're excited that we've not only reached that mark, but did so in a little over two months. It means that shooters can enjoy at least one podcast a week from Politics Reloaded on topics like this through this year (and beyond).
PLUS we talk about survey results which show how deep our distrust of politicians is when it comes to gun laws.
In fact those who oppose gun ownership seem to feel the same way when it comes to how our politicians treat us.

THE NATIONALS WA have sensed a political opportunity to reconnect with shooters, in a push against Papalia's gun laws.
The push might come too late to stop Papalia, however if the Nationals manage to get back in with a Coalition majority, in a position of power at the 2025 WA State Election, then WA shooters may get the reprieve they need.
In this podcast we speak with the Nationals Louise Kingston (Member for the South West Region), about what the Nationals are seeing, culture, and the opportunity that they are extending to hear from shooters.
Have your say & tell the Nationals what you want to see.
They are now seeking your input at: https://www.nationalswa.com/firearm-reforms/
Don't miss this opportunity. We have already put our submission in (see our article on our website)

WE LOST our semi-autos. Then our lever-action shotguns. Now they want our pump-action rifles.
PLUS, Victoria is set to ban bolt-action shotguns.
In this podcast with Graham Park, Shooters Union Australia, we look at where this is going - and what we need to do about it to stop these bans in their tracks.
The big question is, how do we do that?
Can we do that? We believe we can. It's going to take years of consistent and concerted work to get there, but we're in this for the long haul.
If you like that idea, get with the strength. Become a subscriber here.

WOULD YOU KNOW what to do if you received a notice suspending or revoking your gun licence? We look at why this might happen and what you should do about it.
We look at where you can appeal, how much it costs and some of the things to watch out for if you decide to use a lawyer.
PLUS we give an update on a new push by anti-gun groups to ban our pump-action rifles. When shown footage of one being used, former PM, John Howard, said "Well, it looks very lethal to me".

FROM QUEENSLAND TO WA, we look at the news we're hearing about what each state & territory might be up to with their meddling with our firearm laws.
There's little doubt that while our governments say we have a National Firearms Agreement, that they are in fact doing their own things, which will take them further away from any idea of uniformity.
In fact we call it the National Firearms Disagreement.
Find out why.

WE reveal how two WA government agencies, including WA Police, say that the maps released by WA's Police Minister showing the location of shooters, put the public at risk.
We also tell you why we think WAPol might have recommended AGAINST those maps being released.
