Dr. Tony Katakis, DC, always loved the thrill of working with people who genuinely cared about their health and wellness. However, becoming a health and fitness professional took more work. After being told he would never play football again due to a hip injury, Tony was devastated. But instead of accepting this fate, he decided to take control of his health and fully embrace himself in functional movement.
Through his unlikely journey, Tony ended up working with some of the top athletes in the world, including the NHL, NFL, and other professional athletes. Along the way, he learned to appreciate success from a place of scarcity and discovered the many myths surrounding how "dialed-in" athletes are. He also saw the dogmatism in the movement and rehab space, which motivated him to push for more personalized and holistic approaches to health and wellness. Despite his challenges, Tony's determination and passion for helping others led him to where he is today, and he couldn't be happier.
