There are a million other books in regards to race and the intersectionality of race and gender, class and other identity. Take it upon yourself to get educated. If you are black, get educated about your history in this country or in other colonized areas! If you are white do your part in decolonizing history! There were black  leaders NOT associated with slavery and oppression...learn about that history as well! We are apart of the human race, let’s learn about it! -Shenica
